Gryffindor Common room
Hermione says nothing all morning especially about what McGonagall had said to her, at free period Hermione is sitting in the Gryffindor Common room, she is getting even more upset when she thought about Draco, she was holding back her tears because she knew that if they got together it would have been forbidden, but she started to fall in love with him even though he was dead, then Harry, Ron and Ginny enter the Gryffindor common room to find Hermione sitting by the fire alone, she seemed down to them so they go and sit with her.
"Hey Hermione, are you okay?" Asks Ginny. "Errr....yeah,I'm fine...thanks." Hermione say softly. "You sure?" Ron says with worry. "What did McGanagall say to you?" Harry asks. "She said the Ministry-" Hermione starts saying as she starts crying. "Hermione! What's the matter?" Ginny asks softly, then Harry puts his arm around Hermione and comforts her. "Was it about Malfoy?" Harry asks. "Yes, the Ministry identified Malfoy's body and feelings and found out that Malfoy really did love me, the Dark Lord told him nothing!" Hermione cries.
"Oh my god! Hermione, I'm so sorry, this is all my fault, I was only trying to protect you!" Harry says guiltily. "Harry, don't blame yourself for this, don't even think that it was your fault cause it wasn't, you were trying to protect me Harry and I couldn't thank you enough for that." Hermione says as she hugs Harry who smiles and is relived that Hermione didn't start to hate him.
The corridors
Half an hour later Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny make their way to the great hall for lunch but they are approached by Blase, Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle. "Mud-blood, this is all your fault!" Pansy yells coming up to them. "What are you on about Parkinson!?" Hermione say. "I think you know what she's on about Granger!" Blase says why glaring at Hermione. "She's heartbroken because of you, you Bitch!" Crabbe says. "Yeah, look at the state of her, she's been crying 24/7 recently because or you!" Goyle adds.
"He really loved you! He kissed you! And if only you didn't push him away or say you loved him also, he would still be here! But no! Mud-blood Granger has to stick to the rules!"Pansy cries angrily and sadly then Hermione runs off crying as Harry gives the Slythering's a dirty look then runs after her.
Astronomy tower
Hermione makes her way to the Astronomy tower Harry following her all the way and stands beside her, he touches her head then they look at each other. "I feel so guilty Harry, I'm starting to fall in love with him even though he's dead! Why did this have to happen to me!?" Hermione cries. "It's going to be alright Hermione, I promise." Harry says softly then without even thinking Harry lean'sin and Hermione lean's in as well and they share a kiss.
