The greathall
The next day everyone is gathered in the great hall for an assembly in morning of Draco Malfoy, the Slytherin's are devastated especially Pansy who is in tears.
Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny are sitting together, Harry held out his hand for Hermione to hold and she takes his hand, they look at each other and smile as a tear rolls down Hermione's cheek, & the assembly lasted for at least half an hour.

After the assembly everyone goes to start their lessens, Hermione and Harry go to Potions and sit at a desk nearer the front then Blase walks in comforting Pansy who is crying, things were going to change from now on.
Two weeks later Harry and Hermione are in magical creatures with deceased Draco's friend's. "Right guys, listen up! Next month we are going on a studying trip,this is important for your GCSEs" Hagrid says to the class. "Where will we be going?" Asks Hermione. "To Wizarding woods." Hagrid says, then just at that moment a cat appears and turns into Professor McGonagall who walks up to Hagrid.
"Hagrid may I borrow Miss Hermione Granger please?" McGonagall asks. "Yeah sure." Hagrid says then turns to Hermione. "Hermione, could you please go with Professor McGonagall and come straight back please." "Sure." Hermione says then she follows Professor McGonagall back into the castle, down the corridor and into her office.

"Please take a seat." McGonagall says, so Hermione takes a seat. "You may be aware that two weeks ago the Dark lord killed Draco and we heard from Mr Potter cause I asked if he knew anything and Harry said that Draco Kissed you, am I right?" McGonagall asks. "Yes he did kiss me, Harry and I knew it was the Dark Lord that told Malfoy to do it." Hermione says.
"Yes, well that's what we thought at first also but we received a letter from the Ministry of Magic, It turns out the Dark lord did not tell Draco to kiss you after-all." McGonagall says. "So he did actually love me?!" Hermione asks. "Yes he did Hermione, I'm ever so sorry that it's too late, just remember that Draco did loved you."
Hermione is speechless, she really didn't know what to say, she never thought that a pure-blood would love a muggle-born like her, she feels guilt and quite upset knowing that she could have had a chance with a good looking boy like Draco, if only she knew the actual truth before he actually got killed by the Dark lord, she can never forgive herself.
"I know it's hard to take in, I will be talking to Draco's friends about what the Ministry found out in a bit, you may go back to class, have a good day." McGonagall says, so Hermione slowly gets up without saying a word and walks back to her lesson.
