Potions class

The next day in Potions Hermione is sitting at the front with Harry, Draco and Pansy are sitting at the back, the class are doing their work and Professor Snape is sitting at his desk marking work then suddenly a folded up piece of paper in a shape of a bird is flown towards Hermione and lands in front of her then Hermione unfolds the note and reads it.    

The note

Hermione,

I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday, I hope you keep forgiving and forgetting.

Draco xxx

"Do you want me to read that to the class Miss Granger?" Snape says suddenly. "No sir, it's nothing." Hermione says in fear. "Well it doesn't look like nothing to me." "Sir, please, really, it's nothing." She says worriedly. "Well if it's nothing, I suggest you put it away this instant." "Yes sir."

"Good." So Professor Snape goes back to marking work as Hermione puts the note in her bag which is under the table and then she turns around to face Draco who is smiling at her bur she doesn't smile back, even though she is tempted but she couldn't so she just did what was best and turned back round. 

The hospital wing 

At the beginning of free period Hermione is waiting for Ginny outside the hospital wing when she suddenly sees the one person that she really didn't want to see then he sees her and walks up to her. 

"What are you doing here?" Draco asks. "Waiting for Ginny, where are you going?" "To the library, why are you waiting for Ginny outside the hospital wing?" "I don't know, just a random place we thought that we'd meet." "Ok, Anyway about the note earlier, I'm sorry for what happened." "It's fine, it just doesn't feel right that's all." "Same, but we'll get used to it eventually."    

Then Pansy comes up to Draco and Hermione. "Draco, what are you doing here with her?" Pansy asks. "Ohh, I was just doing what I usually do with Gryffindor's, see you around Granger." So Draco walks off with Pansy and just at that moment Ginny turns up and comes up to Hermione. 

"Hey,you ready?" Ginny asks. "Hi! Yeah I'm ready, come on lets go in." So Hermione& Ginny walk into the hospital wing & find Madam Pomfrey is sitting at her desk in the corner so they go up to her & sit at the desk. 

"Ahh Miss Granger, professor McGonagall said you will be coming today." Madam Pomfrey says. "Yeah." Hermione says nervously. "So Minerva has told me that you came to see her yesterday & you side that you thought that you were pregnant,am I right?" "Yes." 

"Ok, so what makes you think that you are pregnant?" Madam Pomfrey asks. "I feel queasy at times, I keep getting up in the night to be sick and I'm late on my period." "Ohh dear, well these are signs of pregnancy, Minerva also told me you had sexual intercourse with Draco Malfoy." "Yes." 

"Have you been having intercourse with any other male apart from Mr Malfoy recently?" Madam Pomfrey asks. "No." "Okay, by the way, this will be kept confidential but if you are pregnant, has Professor McGonagall gone though this with you?" "Yes, so what's going to happen?"    

So Madam Pomfrey walks up to her shelves, opens a box and pulls out a box with a pregnancy test in then she walks back over to the desk, sits back down and hands the test to Hermione. 

"I insist that you go into the girls bathroom and take the test, Miss Wesley can come with you, if you are pregnant we shall discuss what you can do & if you're not we can give you some contraception so it doesn't happen again." Madam Pomfrey says.  "Okay." Hermione says.  

Then with the pregnancy test in hand Hermione stands up and walks out of the hospital wing followed by Ginny, they enter the girls bathroom and Hermione goes into the cubicle with the pregnancy test whilst Ginny what's.  

The girls bathroom  

In the girls bathroom Hermione is in a cubicle sitting on the toilet holding the pregnancy test in the toilet, she feels nervous as her urine hits the stick,she hopes that she isn't pregnant but if she is it will put her and Draco in danger, but she didn't want to murder a baby, even though it wasn't a baby yet she still wouldn't want to kill it.   

Ginny is standing by the sinks when suddenly Cho comes out of a cubicle and goes to wash her hands. "Hey Ginny!" Cho says. "Hey Cho, I haven't seen you in a while." Ginny says back. "Yeah I know, how have you been?" "Not bad thanks, what about you?" "Been busy, studying for my GCSE's. Have you been going on the chat-room?" "Yeah, I do now and again." "Ohh. Right, well I'll be on tonight if you want to have a catch up." "Okay, I'll try my best to come on tonight." "Okay, see ya" "Bye!"    

So Cho leaves the girls bathroom and Ginny leans against the door of the cubical Hermione's in. "Hermione are you okay?" Ginny asks. "Yeah, just waiting for the result." Hermione says as she sits on the toilet seat lid with the pregnancy test in her hand waiting for the result, she keeps taking deep breathes, she is so scared and nervous, a few seconds later the result shows on the pregnancy test. 

"Nooooooo!" Hermione starts crying. "Hermione?What's the result? Come out." So Hermione comes out of the cubicle with tears streaming down her face and she hands Ginny the pregnancy test, then Ginny looks at it and gasps.

"Hermione, it's going to be okay." Ginny says and hugs Hermione. "No it's not! I'm so scared now! What am I going to do?" "Let's go and discuss this with Madam Pomfrey." So Hermione and Ginny make their way back to the hospital wing.  

The hospital wing  

when they arrive back at the hospital wing Madam Pomfrey is seeing to a patient at the back, then as soon as she sees them come in she goes up to them and the three of them go and sit at her desk.

"Right, by telling the state Hermione is in she's pregnant right?" Madam Pomfrey says. "Yes she is Madam Pomfrey." Ginny replies. "Okay, well Miss Granger, you need to calm down dear." So Hermione takes a deep breath. "Okay." 

"Right, I assume you are a month gone, and there are options." Madam Pomfrey says. "What are the options?" Hermione asks. "You can either have an abortion witch you'll only need to take a couple of pills then the fetus will be gone, or you can go ahead with the pregnancy but you'll have to come see me every three weeks." "I really don't know to be honest Madam Pomfrey." "Okay well have a think about it over night and came and see me tomorrow." So Hermione and Ginny leave the hospital wing.
