Chapter 5

**Magnus watched her leave and a few minutes later Alec and Jace walked in when they didn't see her Alec asked: where is she?
Jace: what happened?
Magnus told them exactly what she told him to say Alec was frustrated and mad he was mad at her because she didn't give him a chance to realize whatever it is that he feels towards her and that stupid mark that always burns when she is in some kind of trouble or pain he needed to learn more but with her gone now he couldn't!
Jace on the other hand didn't know how to feel when Alec got to the institute and told him he needed him he say he'd go but when he asked why and Alec told him he looked at him like he was crazy like all of this is some sort of a sick joke but he saw the look on Alec's face and he knew his parabatai wasn't lying he would never lie about something like that when they were on the way he talked about how he want to apologize for being rude to her today and he was even a little excited about having a sister who thank God is not Clary but now he felt disappointed he wanted to say so much but now he couldn't.
All Magnus was able to say was: I'm sorry I went after her but she disappeared.
Alec's face turned soft and he said: it's ok it's not your fault.
Jace: we need to find her she could be in danger.
Magnus: maybe you just need to give her time to process and when she'll be ready she would come back, this is a lot of information to take in.
Jace: but you said she had demons after her possibly because of her powers which she has no idea how to use yet!
Alec: we'll find her Jace don't worry, common let's go back to the institute see what we can find.
He then looked at Magnus and said: are you coming?
Magnus: I would love to but I have clients today so I'll come back later.
Alec said ok and kissed him goodbye when they got to the institute they told the girls about Max being Jace's sister and that she left and they need to find her Alec thought that maybe that mark could help but he didn't tell them about this mark yet even he didn't know what it mean so he just said: let's split up in two each group will go to an area she may be but be careful we have demons after her so pay attention to your sournding ok?
They all nodded and Alec left.
Alec and Jace went with Alec's hunch they first looked at her apartment the place was ruined and she wasn't there.
Clary and Izzy went to the hunters moon to see maybe she take it out on the alcohol but she wasn't there either,
Next Alec and Jace went to the roof where they met after he had that dream which Jace knew nothing about when they got there he looked at Alec and he said: what made you think she'd be here?
Alec thought about what he was going to say so he said: I don't really know...... I saw her here once amm... we talked.
Jace: when?
Alec: a few days ago....I..... couldn't sleep so I took a walk and I saw her here apparently she couldn't sleep either so she went for a walk and ended up here so I thought.....
Jace: she could be here, make sense.
Alec: yeah only she is not here.
Jace: can I say something?
Alec nodded and Jace continued: you still haven't figured out what's going on with her but I think she got under you skin and you have feeling for her and I don't know what kind of feeling or if you know what kind of feelings you have but those feelings are there brother and as long as we look for her0 the more I see the pain in your eyes and man believe it or not I think that's what people call love at first sight cause it hits you when you least expect and you can't control it no matter how hard you try.
Alec looked at him not believing that those words actually came out of Jace mouth he laughed a little and he said: who are you and what have you done with the real Jace?
Jace laughed and said: yeah I know I couldn't believe it came out of my mouth either.
Alec: very philosophical of you.. unexpected!
Jace: I know but you won't hear me say it again so you better let sink in.
He laughed and said: and this is has to stay between us.
They both laughed and then Jace stopped and said: but I'm serious man I know that you love Magnus and you don't want to hurt him but you owe it to yourself to figure it out.
Alec didn't know what to say Jace was right but how could he realize how he feels when he himself doesn't even know so he said: the problem is that I really don't know.... since the day I met her I can't seem to stop thinking about her and to try and protect her and I really wished I knew what those feelings mean but how can I figure it out when she is not here!?
Jace: we'll find her and when we do you'll get the answer you looking for.
Alec nodded and they left the roof to the next location.
Izzy and Clary went to the pier to see maybe she went to Luke but no luck there either. **

The time seemed to past fast cause it's already noon, I thought where I can go, i couldn't go to my apartment cause demons trashed it so I called Maia and she told me to go to where Luke is and he may be able to help so I got to these Chinese restaurant down the pier and I walked in and when Luke saw me he waved at me and I walked toward him I and I asked for his help he said yes right away no question ask I couldn't be more grateful for that I didn't feel like sharing yet so here when a new chapter for me begins!
