**they both woke up with cold sweat Max was alone and Alec was at Magnus's, Magnus didn't understand what happened so he asked: what is it Alexander??
Alec didn't know what it was either so he just said: nothing just a bad dream sorry I wake you.
Magnus smiled and said: it's all good I'm always here for you.
Alec smiled and said: thank you.
Magnus got back to sleep and Alec just stared at the ceiling wide awake**

What the hell??? This dream is crazy soulmates mark on my finger this is nuts!
I looked at my finger and I saw the mark I panicked this was not there yesterday what the hell is happening??? 

**It was 3 in the morning but there was no way either of them go back to sleep so they both decided to take a walk Max left the institute and Alec waited for Magnus to fall asleep and he left his place, they both just walked lost in their thoughts Alec replied the dream over and over again trying to understand it he remembered the mark so he naturally looked at his finger, he was speechless the mark was there "what the hell?" He thought to himself just before he realized he was on a roof looking at Max**

Before I knew it I was on a roof just enjoying the air looking at the city lost in my thoughts when I heard: Max is that you?
I turned around and saw Alec.
" you seem to be everywhere this days"
He gave a forcing laugh and said: yeah right back at you.
We stood there for a few seconds when he said: what are you doing out here alone in this hour?
" I could ask you the sama thing "
Alec: I... couldn't sleep so I took a walk.
"Well I..... had the same thing and a lot on my mind so I took a walk to clear my head and here we are"
Alec: did you settle in ok?
"Yeah Isabelle helped me she is great"
Alec: yeah she is I'm glad she helped you.
"Yeah we talked she told me about you and Magnus"
He seemed weird and said: yeah? What she said?
"Just that you two are a couple and you very happy"
Alec: ohh..
"Was she wrong?"
Alec: no she wasn't I am happy.
"I'm glad to hear that!"
We were silenced for a minute when I Alec said: can I ask you something?
I nodded and he said; what happened to you when you were 4 that you had to go to a foster home?
I didn't see this one coming.
" amm I don't really know or remember much all I remember is a police officer taking me from my house and a lot of blood even back then I knew they were dead after that they took me to social services and here I am 18 years later discovering that I'm a shadowhunter.
My voice was cold and distance as I brought back the memories from the past years, Alec was speechless he couldn't find anything to say so he came close to me and hugged me tight a tear slipped my eye and we just stood there I broke the hug and said: I should get back to the institute.
Alec: yeah me too its almost sunrise.
"Alec?!"
Alec: yeah!?
"Thank you for everything so far"
He smiled nodded and walked away, I got back to the institute went to my room and got to the shower changed clothes and I decided to try sleep some more the time was almost 5 so I closed my eyes and hoped for a dreamless sleep.

**Alec walked right into bed and Magnus was still asleep he blessed the angels for that and he tried to fall back asleep***

A knock on the door woke me up I looked at the clock 8 am, seriously people don't sleep around here? I opened the door to find Isabelle Jace and Clary looking at me and I said: can I help you guys? Can't you see I'm trying to sleep!
Jace: no sleep today sleeping beauty we still have to figure out who attacked you and why so rise and shine.
I looked at the girls and said: is he always this charming?
They both laughed and Isabelle said: Jace calmed down let her wake up first, we'll wait for you at HQ ok?
I looked at her with a questionable face and she said: big room with a lot of computers.
"Got it"
They left and I changed my clothes and 10 minutes later I went to HQ I saw them and they were on the computer checking something I saw a map and the place the demon attacked me the second time and the first time then Jace said: how did you kill him?
" I didn't Alec did "
They all looked at each other and I said: what? Did I say something wrong?
Isabelle: no no its just something about Alec we try to understand.
"Like what?"
Just then Alec walked in toward us and said: good morning.
They all replied and he looked at me and said: how was your first night here?
"Sleepy till charming boy here woke me up by almost breaking my door"
I glared at Jace who rolled his eyes and said: I need to talk to you alone?
Alec nodded and they left.

**Alec had a feeling about what since  they connected they walked into Jace's room and Alec asked: what's up?
Jace: you tell me!
Alec: I don't follow.
Jace: Alec what do you know about her??
Alec: I know enough.
Jace: know enough??? You're kidding?? What is it about her? I can read  your emotions all over the place.
Alec: there is nothing Jace.
Jace: you can't lie to me I'm your parabatai I know when you lying.
Alec: I am not lying if I knew what's happening to me I'd tell you!
Suddenly the mark on his finger start to burn he hide it from Jace but it was painful Jace asked: what's wrong?
All Alec said was: Max.
He ran to HQ Jace after him he saw Izzy and Clary but no Max so he asked: where is she?
Clary: she said she needed a few things from her apartment so she went to get it.
Izzy: what is it big brother?
Alec: we need to find her now!
Izzy: I could use a tracking rune.
Alec left and came back 2 seconds later with a shirt and he said: I'll do it.
Alec left the institute and the both girls looked at Jace and he said: I tried talking to him he says everything is fine!
Izzy: everything is fine? Really? Look how worry he is? Magnus was right he does have feelings for her!
Clary: you don't think she put him under a spell or anything like that?
Izzy: no she didn't I got a read on her she is genuine about everything
Clary: then what is it about her?
Izzy: I don't know.**

I walked to my apartment to get a few things when I got there I saw the door knob is broken and the door was open I slowly walked in and I heard weird noises I walked toward my bedroom when someone put a hand on my mouth and pushed me behind a wall.
