Dearest,
You will never know what your friendship means to me. You are someone I hold very near to my heart and someone who I hope I will never forget. Throughout my life I have had many people who had came as quickly into my life as they left. But none of those friendships were as important as yours.
I am not entirely sure as to the reason of why you decided to reach out to me: guilt, pity, empathy. Whatever the reason may be I'm glad we're friends. Through the ups and downs of this roller coaster called life, I will always be here. I can assure you that no matter what happens I will understand.
