But jack didn't go home. he stormed down the hallway seeing will and I together, he softened his expression and approached us. "We have found the IP address of that article. Freddie lounds' apartment." Jack said, annoyed. "I should have known. You should come with us." He said.
Will and I looked at each other and shrugged and went along with it. We all piled into Jack's car, as he drove. When we arrived, she did everything in her capability to avoid being jailed which was actually rather pathetic to me, but I stayed quiet for the moment.
"You can't arrest me for writing an article." She said, as she was handcuffed.
"But you can for intentional or unintentional defamation." I said as I stepped closer.
Everyone glanced over and stepped back. Jack smiled and persuaded me on. With that, I entered the center stage. "Surely a journalist knows of defamation? The diminishing of one's reputation. Which entails posting, writing, or slandering against someone's negative attributes and personality traits that may affect their future, in the forms of getting a job, finding a footing in society, etcetera." I said, rather angry and sensitive.
We soon left after that episode and I didn't know what else to do. Will met with me outside the room and offered a hand. "Do you still wish to come with me?" He asked, seeing as Jack was here.
"Yeah! Of course." I said, Yawning a little. He walked along back to Jack's car and Jack drove us to the station. I told him my plans of going with Will and he allowed me and left on his own.
"There is one stop I would like to make before we go to my house if you don't mind." He said as he drove down the highway. I silently agreed and closed my eyes. A few moments later he placed a gentle hand on my arm letting me know we were here.
Before long, I realized we were at the hospital. I left the car and walked into the building solemnly, not knowing why we were here. Will seemed to know where he was going so I trustingly followed him, up the elevator and down the hall. To Abigail's hospital room.
I glanced at Abigail as her heart monitor was beeping steadily. I didn't really know her that well, as she never came downstairs and I was never allowed upstairs. But sometimes she did come downstairs and would give me food or other things.
Will sat down in the couch provided in the room and I sat next to him, resting my head on his shoulder. He had on a cologne that was unique. It lulled me into sleep faster than I expected. I felt Will shift a little and he laid down as well. I didn't know why we were here exactly, but I didn't really mind. I could feel his breathing change and realized he also fell asleep.
I could feel the presence of someone new, but I didn't pay it any mind as it could have been a doctor of some sort. Will woke up but didn't move in fear of waking me up, but he smiled as he saw his friend and colleague, Alana Bloom. She draped a blanket around us and quietly spoke with Will.
