AN:// Another short chapter... I should probably stop saying that, because you already know and there will be more of them.

In the morning, I peeled back the covers and let Will know that I was going to see if there was a bowl of fruit somewhere. He said it was fine as long as I knew how to get back. I assured him that I did as he let me go. I walked out of the room and down the hallway.

I guess I woke up too fast as I got a massive headache. A man dressed in a doctor's uniform, saw me grab my head and steadied me against him. "Do you have any Advil?" I asked him, and he seemed too ready to give me some. My headache disappeared but I felt weirder. He walked me to sit down and I soon lost consciousness.

Jack soon called Will and told him to check on me as someone had told the escaped suspect about me and that I could be in danger. Will sat up almost immediately and looked down the hallway that I would have walked down. He asked the front desk about the man. "he was in uniform, and gave her Advil..." The woman said as she seemed confused. "Which way did he go?!" Will said, urgently.

"Down to the back exit...." She pointed. And Will was gone in a flash. He ran down past where she pointed and heard fast footsteps going down the stairs. He jumped steps at a time to keep up, as he brought out his gun.

I regained my consciousness while in his arms and jumped. "Put me down you fucking psychopath!" I screamed, making will go faster. I headbutted him with my hard antlers and almost severed arteries in his neck. But I missed them by that much.

He dropped me to clutch his neck and he skidded away. I groaned as I hit the ground. But moved to the stairs. I saw Will running down and he crowded around me, sheltering me from Stammets. He raised his gun to him but Stammets wasn't able to speak. Will called it in, and doctors came to get him.

Will didn't wait for them to finish he got me and himself out of that hospital. He sighed once he got into his car. "I am so sorry. I should have known that he would take an interest in you and Abigail. I guess... it was a good thing I was here though."

I nodded and stayed silent. My head, bloody frombreaking his skin with my antlers. I felt disgusting and soiled. I had almostkilled someone.
