~Eren's POV~
It was the next morning at school. People looked like they'd rather be dead than having to set foot in this place. Even the people who were good at learning had no urge or will to be here. But it's school—so yeah know—kids gotta learn.
Unless they'd be perfectly fine working behind a cash register taking orders at McDonalds watching as America gets fatter by the second. One burger after the other.
I could feel my eyelids plead to stay open. I was way too exhausted to even be here. It felt like I've been sleep deprived ever since I came out of the womb.
But my day was only gonna get even more tiring when I saw my fellow gay: Marco. He's got a cute face, but half of the time he's sometimes passive aggressive.
He wore sweatpants and hoodie. Without any words, I could still read that his outfit said I give up.
"Hey Marco," I said. He had a surprised look on his face like he didn't expect me to greet him like a normal person would do.
"Oh hey Eren." He emphasized my name for some unknown reason. "How are ya?"
"Tired."
"I feel like 'tired' is just a personality trait for you now. Look at you. You even have bags underneath your eyes. Come on, act more gay."
"How do I act more gay?" Honestly I didn't know the answer.
"I don't know. Just stop acting straight."
"Very specific, Marco. Even if I am ga—" My throat closed when I saw Ymir approaching. She never gave a single fuck about what other people think about her and if she's a huge lesbian. That's who I wanna be like some day. Not lesbian; just proud.
Being able to walk into school and say move, I'm gay seems like a dream come true.
With my fingers tightly grasping the straps of the backpack, I rocked back and forth on my heels waiting for her to leave. We were not really friends. Not that I hated her or anything, it's just her personality overpowers mine to a full extent.
To be short, we're acquaintances. But I don't know about her and Marco. Both are like gay queens.
"Eren. Marco." She spoke nonchalantly. "Whatcha talking about?"
"Liking the oppos—"
"Nothing! Just school work," I interrupted Marco before he blew my cover. It feels like I'm spy. An undercover gay waiting for the perfect moment to out myself as apart of the LQBTQ community.
I could hear Marco scoff under his breath as he crossed his arms and cocked his hip.
"Hmm okay." She sounded unfazed by my interruption. "Did you see Jean's snapchat post?"
I don't use social media anymore. Tilting my head, I said, "No...What is it?"
I could see Marco looking at me in my peripheral vision, but I ignored him. The gays—that I know—live off of drama. It's practically their fuel.
Ymir gave a small smirk before pulling her phone out. The screen reflected off of her skin showing the many freckles she had splattered across her face.
"Look," she said after she turned the phone to face us.
Marco and I examined the post and it felt like my blood froze. Every cell in my body stopped and my organs broke down. Not really, but it felt like that.
There printed in white text with a black highlight explained everything what Jean told me yesterday. Levi in the bathroom with another person, him yelling at Jean, and telling him to leave.
