I Love You, You Love Her
Whenever we are together,
I know you think of her.
Whenever you are here with me,
You are longing to be with her.
Whenever I say 'I love you.'
You always reply 'Me too.'
Whenever I say sweet words,
You have the expression I hate.
Whenever I ask if you are happy,
You always answer 'all the time.'
Whenever I ask if you enjoy my company,
You always say 'so much.'
Whenever we do things together,
You have her in mind.
The things you do to me,
You do them to her.
The sweet things you told me,
You told them to her.
The happiness you fake with me,
You feel it real to her.
The lies you told me,
They hurt me a lot.
The pretension you show all along,
It is so palpable.
The hurt I feel right now,
You will never know it.
I love you but you love her,
You love her and you break my heart.
Do you love me or do you love her?
Am I the one for you or she is the one for you?
