Looking for You
I found a recipe,
I was looking for you hastily.
I bought a new dress today,
I was looking for you excitedly.
I discovered a great website,
I was looking for you badly.
I wrote a new poem,
I was looking for you hopelessly.
I missed cooking for you,
you loved the food I always prepared.
I missed going shopping with you,
you liked to pick dresses for me to wear.
I missed watching movies online with you,
you adored every single action movie.
I missed the moments you read my poems,
you fell in love with me through them.
I always forget you are gone.
I thought you were just working.
I always tend to call you on the phone,
I thought you were just busy.
I always reminisce about the memories we had,
I thought it would ease the pain.
I always visit your graveyard,
I don't want my love for you to cease to exist.
