I yell as I storm to my office. I sat down at the black, sleek piano and started to hammer on the keys, playing an angry melody. I feel sweat drip down my neck and and rip my over coat off. How dare she! That brat. That ugly brat. I rip my mask of with an angry roar. It wasn't my fault. It wasn't. I start to play again and hear the door open. I see Christine sit down beside me and I notice that there is huge space between us.

"Erik, do not yell at her and don't you ever dare to hit her." Christine says.

"Do not tell me what to do. And I may yell at her when she speaks out if turn. And I may hit her." I play a couple of notes and hear the chair creak. She had stood up

"I may tell you what to do, and it is not he fault that she is like this. You are truly a beast if you would do his to your own child. You know how it feels to be in her position, yet you show no compassion to her. You are evil." Christine spits at me and slams the door behind her. She has never said anything like that before and I feel my heart drop. My sadness then turns to hatred. I pound on the keys nearly breaking them. I hear a knock on the door and scream.

"Who is it?" I put my mask back on and brush my hair back.

"Marie, sir. I have a letter for you." A servant replied, voice trembling.

"Slide it under the door and leave." I see the letter slide under the door and bend down to retrieve it. I pick the note up and sit back down on the chair.

Dear Mr.Y,

We sadly inform you that you are in debt, the new Opera house for Phantasma, needs more money and you sir are running out. We expect payment in 8 months cause my children love your park we will extend it to a year.

Sincerely, John Parker

I crumble the note. I knew a job that would hire me on the spot but Christine couldn't know. she would never let me do it, but we needed the money. I start to write a new song and later my mind wonders into the world of music.
