The next couple of days I went out onto the pier to play and sing to make some money. I hid the stash between the floorboard under my mattress. I adjust my hat and slide on my new boots. I smooth my white dress down and about to pick up my violin when Mother comes in.

"Where going on the board walk, I'm going to get you some dresses." She says.

"No it's fine, dresses can't make me look pretty, don't want to waste your money." I respond and see Mothers face fall.

"Um a couple of dresses would be nice." I stammer out, she smiles and holds her hand out. I take it and walk out the door with her. I see Elizabeth coming to and try not to kill my self.

"Where's Father?" Elizabeth asks.

"He got a new job." Christine says.

"Do you know what he does?" Elizabeth's asks, I could care less, if he was out of the house I was fine.

"No, he said it was a surprise." Mother says, squeezing our hands.

A couple if hours later I had 3 new dresses which Elizabeth kept complaining about since she only got one. Mother said we could walk on our own while she went home. Elizabeth hated to be around me but insisted we go inside this shabby looking tent. I put my chocolate bar in my bag and waited for her. I hear her scream and run out. She runs past me and I see her running towards home. I turn my head towards the tent and see that no ones going in or out. I adjust my hat and walk in. I see 5 rusty cages with hay in them, buts that's not all, I see people. But different kinda if people. In the first cage is a really skinny man and when he's sitting down he is taller than me. In the next cage is a huge women. Every time she moves the boards under her creak. The next cage holds a small man ( half the size if me ) that has bright white hair and a white bears that touches the floor braided. The next cage is a slim women with cat eyes, slits. There is a huge cage in the middle of the room. In side is a normal looking man until he turns his head and I see that his face is distorted and I can't place it but he looks familiar. I touch my face, and sit down in front of the cage. He looks at me with hating eyes then soften as I hold out a piece I'd chocolate. He takes it and sits crossed leg and starts to munch on it. I hand out chocolate to the others, and talk to them. As i make my way to middle I sit down and start to sing. I see them start to tear up and I keep singing. I sing to each of them, telling them that there's beauty underneath. As I near the man in the middle, I pull my hat of and face him so that only he could see my face. I see a fire in his eyes, then it's gone. I take his hand and keep on signing. I see him smile. Once I finish they start clapping.

"I'm sorry about my sister, the next time she comes I'll make her apologize." I say. I hug each of them and see the man in the middle with a tear in his eyes.

"What's your namer" I ask.

"Erik"

"My Fathers name is Erik."

"He must be so proud of you." He says, looking at me straight in the eyes.

"No." I shake my head and my throat tightens.

"He doesn't love me." I barely get out.

"Well he doesn't deserve you." I see Erik mumble. I hug him and squeeze him tight. He seems take back but quickly wraps his arms over me. I wave to them goodbye and head home. Hoping Father wasn't there yet.
