"Wait, wait. Marinette!" Adrien chased after Marinette as she sped down the hallway.

"Fuck off," Marinette snapped.

"Marinette, stop." Adrien grabbed her hand.

She spun around, pulling her hand out of his grasp, "Don't touch me. You lied to me. Why are you still with Chloe?"

"It's complicated," Adrien sighed.

"It's not. It's really not." Marinette crossed her arms, "So, you either give me the truth or just stay the hell away from me."

Adrien opened his mouth to say something but closed it.

"That's what I thought." Marinette turned away and ran into straight into Marin, "Shit, sorry."

"What's up baby sis?" Marin smiled, which quickly faded as he saw Adrien.

"Nothing," She huffed, continuing down the hallway.

Marin glared at Adrien and followed her.

"Mari, what happened?" Marin asked, catching up to her.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it."

"What did Adrien do? Marinette, talk to me."

"I said it's nothing. Just fuck off," Marinette growled.

Marinette slowly approached Marin's room. She was about to knock when she heard her brother yell.

"I told you to leave her alone!"

"She came up to me, Marin. How the fuck could I have avoided her at my own locker?" Adrien retorted.

"I don't need you playing with my sister's heart, asshole. She deserves better than that." Marin seethed.

"I'm not playing her. You're the one that wants me to stay with Chloe. You're the one that wants me to get over Marinette. You're the one hurting your sister." Adrien shouted.

Marinette jumped as she heard Marin slam Adrien against the wall and things clattered to the floor.

"I'm protecting her. It's my job to protect her." Marin hissed.

"Protecting her from what? Growing up?" Adrien yelled, "I love her."

"That's bullshit." Marin dryly laughed.

"You think I'd lie about that? When I know fully well you'll murder me if I am? I love Marinette, Marin." Adrien's voice had calmed down.

"Get the fuck out of my house and leave Marinette alone." Marin pushed him against the wall.

The door handle turned and Marinette quickly ran to her room, her heart beating wildly. She peeked through a crack in her door to see Adrien leaving Marin's room.

"Pst, Adrien," Marinette whispered.

"Marinette," Adrien frowned, "You heard?"

She nodded her head slightly, "Yeah."

"I meant it. Meet me in the park at midnight." He smiled softly and left.

Marinette closed her door and sighed.

Marinette slipped out of her room and tiptoed down the stairs. She winced as the stairs creaked as she descended.

She snuck out the door and walked to the park. She pulled her jacket tightly against her as the cold wind nipped at her skin.

"Walking alone at night. Dangerous move, love," Adrien chuckled as she approached him.

"I think I can handle myself, Agreste." Marinette rolled her eyes, "What's up?"

"Nothing, just this," Adrien wrapped his arm around her and kissed her.
