Marin POV:

"What are you doing here?" Marin asked, walking up to Adrien.

"I - I heard what happened," Adrien answered.

"You need to leave. Right now." Marin growled.

"As her boyfriend, I deserve to be here," Adrien retorted.

"The only thing you deserve is an ass-kicking. Leave," Nathaniel placed a hand on Marin's shoulder.

Adrien glanced at his hand and looked up at Marin, "Call me with any updates on her. Please. Not as her boyfriend but as her brother's best friend."

Marin sighed, "Fine."

"Right this way," The nurse showed Marin to Marinette's room, "She's sleeping but she'll be awake soon."

Marin sat next to her bed and Nathaniel stood next to him.

"How did this happen? She's smart, she's a good driver." Marin's lip quivered.

"It's ... it's hard to see when ... when your eyes are filled with tears," Marinette croaked.

"Why were you crying, baby sis?" Marin moved closer to her.

Marinette's POV:

"I'm gonna fucking kill him," Marin stood up and walked out the door.

"Nathaniel, make sure he doesn't get into any trouble for me, please," Marinette sighed.

" 'Course, Mari," Nathaniel smiled, following Marin.

"Hey, Marinette. How are you feeling?" Alya entered her room.

"I feel like I got hit by a two-ton vehicle because a boy made me cry," Marinette laughed.

"What did he do?"

"My brother was right about him," Marinette bit her lip, "He just wanted sex."

"Aw, Marinette. You deserve better than him." Alys sat next to her.

"Thanks," Marinette smiled, weakly.

Alya placed her hand on Marinette's, "Are you gonna be okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'll be fine." Marinette assured her.

There was a small knock on the door and the two girls turned their heads to see a boy with blond hair.

"Adrien, you're stupider than I thought," Alya scoffed.

"I just wanted to make sure she's okay," Adrien explained.

"She's fine, now leave." Alya stood up.

"Marinette, I - " He began but Alya interrupted him.

"She doesn't care what you have to say. Leave."

"Alya," Marinette tried to calm down her riled friend, "I actually wanna hear what he has to say. Can you go find my brother? Make sure he doesn't come up until Adrien leaves?"

Alya hesitated, "Okay."

Alya passed Adrien, glaring at him.

"So, what pathetic explanation did you come up with on the elevator ride?" Marinette laughed, dryly.

"Marinette, I didn't mean it. I was just frustrated. I was angry you didn't trust me."

"You didn't mean it? Right, sure."

"I didn't! Maybe, maybe I did at first. But as I got to know you -"

"At first?" Marinette scoffed, "The only reason you considered even talking to me was that you thought I'd be a good fuck?"
