Montreal's Pov
"Monty! You're going to be late for class!" I heard mom yell from downstairs
"Okay okay I'm coming" I said putting on my uniform.
I quickly threw all my notebooks into my bag and walked downstairs and into the kitchen. When I entered I saw mom and Aunty Care making food for everyone. Oh! I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Montreal Rosanna Pierce. I'm 15 years old and I live with my mom Katherine Pierce,Aunt Caroline, Uncle Alaric, and My cousins Josie and Lizzie Saltzman, and my Best friend Hope Mikealson. We all live in the headmistress house on the campus of the Salvatore Boarding school for the young and gifted. Yes you heard me right Katherine Pierce and Caroline Forbes live in a house and don't rip each other's heads off. Aunt Care says it's because of me. She always says when I brought my mom back I brought her back as a better person. She thinks without me Mom would be back to her old ways. But I know moms a good person she just needs to be given a chance to show that. And she's shown that already to Aunty Care and Uncle Alaric. But of course mom has made a lot of enemies in her time and it's gonna take a while to burn all those bridges. But so far she's actually made amends with the mystic falls gang. Yes even Damon and Stefan Salvatore kinda forgave her. Mom says they got one look at me and knew I'd changed her for the better. I guess I just have that effect on people.
Oh and my best friend Hope is my other half. We're like sisters and tell each other everything. I think we get along good because we are both Tribrids. Yeah that's right I'm part Witch, Wolf, and Vampire. Mom tells me that my birth mother was the only known witch,werewolf hybrids. And my Father was a Vampire. Mom says that my birth mom loved my father so much and was powerful enough to make a spell to be able to have a child with him. And that's how a baby Tribrid me came into the world. Sadly my dad left mom before she could tell him about me.Then a year after I was born some bad people cane after mom and to protect me she put me under a sleeping spell.Under the spell I didn't age I just..slept. I remember being on the other side while I slept. I met a lot of different people who were suprised they could actually talk to me. I was surprised I even could talk since I was one. But I felt so bad for all those people it must have been so lonely not to be able to speak to anyone. So for many years I made friends on the other side until one day..I woke up.
Katherine woke me up, took me in and has given me the best life possible. I love her and the rest of my family to death. But that's my backstory. Sorry for that flashback of sadness.
Anyways I smiled, kissed my mom on the cheek, grabbed my breakfast plate and put it on the counter infront of my chair. Then I grabbed my cup of orange juice from Aunt Care.
"Thanks Auntie" I said smiling as I sat next to Hope
"You're welcome Monty" She said with her usual bright smile as she handed the twins thier plates
"Glad you girls finally decided to wake up" Mom said looking at me and Hope. We both exchanged a look and laughed.
Last night we were up super late hanging out and gossiping like we always do.
"We were studying all night" I obviously lied eating my food.
"Yeah we've got finals soon" Hope added as she drank her juice.
Mom and Caroline exchanged one of those mom looks and looked back at us obviously not believing us.
"Okay okay we were catching up on Floridabama Shore" Hope said and I laughed putting our plates in the sink.
"But in our defense they are hilarious" I said as I picked up my bag and kissed mom on the cheek.
She rolled her eyes smiling at me and ruffled my hair much to my discontent.
"Get to class" She said playfully glaring at me.
I smiled and waited for Hope and the Twins to get their stuff. Once they did we all said bye and walked out of the house and down towards the campus. Aunt Care followed behind us coffee in hand saying hello to students as she passed. She's the headmistress here and everyone loves her.
As we walked Hope and I talked and laughed about different things and eventually joined our group of friends on our way to class. We all joke and I even got a piggy back ride from one of the guys. But even as we all joked around and had fun I couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen today....Something crazy.
