I'm actually talking to my dad right now..Woah. I never in a million years thought that this would ever happen. I....should be happy right? I finally have another part of my family in my life. I should be ecstatic right now, and I am...kinda. I just don't know how I really feel yet. Kol..Dad? No I'll just call him Kol got now sat there for an hour or so talking and just getting used to Me. I could tell from his body language that he was just as timid about the situation as I was,but we actually had a good conversation. I told him little things about myself and showed him a few things I could do with my powers. He just listened and told me stories about him and my mother. He really loved her, I can see it in his eyes.
After a while of us talking the others finally found us and lets just say Mom wasn't too happy with me.
"What were you thinking?! You could've gotten hurt! Or something bad could've happened to you!" She scolded
"Mom I'm fine and nothing would've happened" I said rolling my eyes
"Don't roll your eyes at me missy you're already in trouble for skipping classes" She said glaring at me
"Oh come on! Hope was skipping too!" I said not thinking about the last thing I said
"Hey! Don't snitch on me cause you got caught!" Hope said defensively
"Enough! Since neither of you want to own up you're both grounded and on academic probation" Aunt Care said
"What?! No fair" we said in unison and we both looked at our dads for help they both shrugged and shook their heads disappointedly.
"Don't look at us" Kol said
"You're both lucky we aren't giving the punishments" Klaus said shrugging
"Caroline may I ask what classes they skipped?" Elijah asked
"History,astronomy,Latin,and magic studies" she replied as me and Hope slowly backed away from them all trying to sneak away.
"Well then I'd be happy to tutor them during their probation period" he said
"I can help with the magic studies" Freya said
"As can I. I was a witch for some time" Rebekah added
"No! No! No!" Hope said " Uncle Elijah is a strict tutor" she whined
"Hmm I think it's a great idea" Mom said
"As do I" Klaus added
"Me too" Kol finished
"It's settled then. Your tutoring starts tomorrow" Elijah said sternly
Me and Hope groaned and tried to walk away but Mom grabbed us by our ears.
"The house is the other way."
She said pulling us along with her
"Ouch! Mom stop" I whined
"Aunty Kat that hurts" Hope said
She ignored us until we got the the house and she made us go to our rooms.Separately. Usually me and Hope have mini sleepovers and stay in each other's rooms, but part of us being grounded is we can't go in each other's rooms.
After a while of throwing a tennis ball at my ceiling I sighed in boredom and half heartedly got ready for bed.
As I brushed my curly hair I heard a knock at the door. I didn't even bother to look and opened it with magic like I always do.
"I do believe your mother and aunt said no magic while grounded" Kol said as he walked in and sat next to me
"I know I just forgot" I mumbled putting down my brush
"Why'd you skip class?" He asked getting straight to the point of why he was in my room
"Cause I felt like it" I sassed getting under my covers
"That's not good enough" he said crossing his arms over his chest
"Aren't you supposed to be the fun one?" I asked annoyed and turned away from him
"I am" he said defensively "But I'm your father first"
"Don't try too hard on your first day" I mumbled. I'm always snarky when I'm in trouble.
I heard him sigh and his weight left the side off the bed. Soon his footsteps sound towards the door.
"Goodnight Montreal" He said from the door
"Goodnight Kol" I replied
I heard him sigh once more and mumble something I couldn't hear before he closed my door.
That was rude of me.Why did I do that? I just need to calm down and I'll apologize in the morning.
I rolled over in bed looking at my picture of my mother on my bedside and sighed before I slowly drifted to sleep thinking of my new family.
This is going to be interesting.....
