The Spells that Bind Us

The Vial

I woke up at the 7 AM alarm, I usually sleep through it.  I was still in my clothes from the night before. The thought reminded me of the previous night where I had gone to the store and then went to the clearing.  I didn't remember anything after that, so I must have fallen asleep in the clearing, which means Cam took us back. They must be exhausted...

I decided to get ready and make breakfast for us.  I went downstairs and started cutting up fruit into small cubes.  I ended up filling three containers with the mixture and still had a large batch of fruit left.  I checked the orders from yesterday to find they were all assembled and ready to go, Cam must have gotten them before the peppermint.  I checked the orders from the website there were only two, they were both simple and I finished them quickly. I eventually went down to the storage room to grab some extra flasks for my alchemy cabinet, I had broken a dozen while mixing new ingredients together.  And as I was walking back up the stairs I heard Cam stumble and crash on the ground. Snickering, I called out to them, "You Okay?" "Shut up."

My smirk deepened as the door opened and he fell down the stairs, getting themself tangled in a mess of ethereal wire, and finally stopping as a mound of limbs on the kitchen floor.  "Could you help?!"

I crouched down and started to untangle the wire, slowly but surely getting Cam out of their bind.  

After they were freed they got up and went to the fridge to find the multiple boxes of fruit salad.  "I may have gotten a bit carried away..." "Holy crap..."

They picked up two of the boxes and shook them in front of me, the boxes were so full they barely made a sound.

Cam eventually put some on a plate and ate, meanwhile I was in the front cleaning up when I heard Cam call for me in the greenhouse.  I ran out to find an intricate vial in their hands, the cap was made of silver, the body made of crystal, and don't get me started on the carving on the side.  While I was studying the vial Cam held up a tag with our names on it. I realized what the solution in the vial was soon after. I ran back into the house to grab a stone tablet and a bottle of water.  I ran back and set the tablet down. I asked Can to pour the solution on the tablet. Right after they did the fluid covered the tablet, then condensed on the top side. The fluid started to evaporate and took some stone with it leaving a carving.  We starred as the carving polished itself out and left the following message:

Dear Cameron and Jaxson Diagon,
The Coalition of Powers would like to invite you to the next meeting.  It will be held at The Grove, on the tenth of November. We would be glad to have to attend.

We were stunned, the Coalition of Powers consisted of the most powerful mages and alchemists.  The only people who were invited were those who were being considered to be offered a position or those who were close to the members.  We didn't know anyone on that was a member of The Coalition of Powers.

So... I've been missing for the past month, and for that I'm sorry.  If you comment on this part with anything extra you want me to add, such as more information or a map of this land I will get that out as soon as possible. Hope you enjoyed.
