Lover's Freedom Part 2

After going over the plan about fifty times, I felt comfortable, that the ladies knew what they were doing backwards and forwards.

Now it was time for my Luna lesson and I was requested to meet up with Luna Jane in her office at twelve, it was now eleven fifty, and I was patiently sitting outside her office waiting to be called in.

I really wasn't looking forward to this lesson, being around Luna Jane was a pain. I didn't want to keep up this facade, that I agree with killing off Alpha Rueso, but I just needed to ride this out until tonight.

Luna Jane opened her office door,

"You may come in now", she beckoned.

I got up from my chair and followed her inside her office.

Five other people were standing around her desk hovering over some big paper. When I walked closer, I realized they was looking down at a map.

"What's going on" I asked puzzled.

Luna Jane led me to the middle of the group before explaining,

"This is a map of Livingston, we are looking at different properties to see where we want to make a new hospital, "

She casual waved her hand over the map,

" Just another duty that comes with being Luna."

"Oh, I see." I said not enthusiastically.

"This lesson is going to be completely useless"

"Since we're joining packs, we're going to make a joining hospital, and as Luna, I see over the project", Luna Jane continued on proudly.

I looked up from the map and smiled at the many faces around me, some of them I recognized, but I still wanted them to introduce themselves to me.

"And who might these fine people be? "

I raised my eyebrows and smiled wider, as to look welcoming and curios at the same time, but really I could care less. Because when I'm Luna, I want a whole different team working for me.

Out with the old and in with the new, as the saying goes.

"Well this is -," Luna Jane started to explain, but I politely cut her off, by gently putting a hand on her arm and chuckled.

"I'm sure they have voices, I turned back to them, "Right?"

Everyone laughed and swooned while nodding their heads.

Luna Jane awkwardly fake laughed and quickly pursed her lips together.

"Exactly, Let a real Luna take over. If I'm going to be stuck in this meeting, at least I can do is make it interesting for myself. "

I excitedly clapped my hands together, "Okay, let's start with you", I pointed to the woman next to me.

She proudly puffed out her chest, smiled and then slightly bowed her head before answering,

"My name is Nancy Teeter, I am the interior designer on this project."

I politely returned her bow, "Well, I'm happy that you're on this project Nancy, we will be needing your exquisite eye and taste."

Nancy beamed with recognition, "Ugh.. Th.. Thank you Supreme Luna."

Luna Jane cleared her throat. I cut my eye at her before turning my attention back to Nancy.

"Please call me Bonnie, and that goes to everyone around the table. Now whose next?"

That's how the beginning of the meeting went, I met Nancy the interior designer, Arthur the architector, Bill the chief of the Hospital, Fred the contractor and Megan the personal assistant to Luna Jane.

All the time they bowed thier heads and I would bow mines back. They showing me great respect was refreshing.

"Well now let's take a sit and get down to whatever business that was suppose to be discuss today,"

I turned and looked over at Luna Jane,

"Sorry for interrupting your meeting, its all yours, " I smiled before taking a sit.

Luna Jane took her spot as the head and began the meeting.

"I was thinking we can build the hospital next to the surrounding stores, next to the new pack house, Luna Jane inquired.

She pointed to a spot on the map,

"Right here. Now if we do this..."

I must admit I didn't listen to anything after that. I couldn't help but think that Luna Jane and I had a lot of similaries.

Even though I would NEVER want to compare myself to a weakling like her, our romance life, on the other hand, were uncanning.

Marrying another and sacrificing our mates in the process, but unlike her I will have it all, Power and Love to whomever I choose.

I tuned back into the meeting and cleared my throat, cutting off Luna Jane in the process.

I was going to end this meeting with a quickness so I could catch a late lunch, I glanced at the clock it was now one thirty.

"How about we build the Hospital on the territory line, to show the union between the packs and it can symbolize, if you need help we're both their," I crossed my legs and looked around the table,

" What do you think, could it be done?"

"Yes ma'am," answered Fred.

Bill and Arthur nodded thier heads.

"That would be wonderful to design," gushed Nancy, "We can have both pack colors as a symbol."

"Great well that's solved," I swiveled my chair around to face Luna Jane, "with your approval of course."

"Sounds.. per.. fect" Luna Jane agreed through clenched teeth.

"Well meeting adjourned then," I stood up, quickly shook everyones hand and begun walking towards the door,

"It was nice meeting you all. But I'm needed else where right now. I trust you can handle the final details. Good luck. "

I winked at Luna Jane before opening the door and leaving.

You can say I already knew she would agree with whatever I said, it was in her best interest after all.

For one, if she would of disagree it would look like she doesn't agree with her future Luna and secondly, everyone at the table was eating out of the palm of my hand.

I could of been serving them shit and they would of ate it up like candy. So who would go against that?

I stopped walking and pulled out my phone.

"I hope you haven't eaten yet, wanted to do a late lunch."

I sent the text to Kyle.

My phone chimed. I opened the text.

"Haven't ate yet, meet you in my room?"

"On my way, " I replied back.

I put my phone away and looked into the hall mirror and fixed my hair.

Well now its time to keep my mate out of harms way.
