What the Flipping Frack!!

I walked into the dinning room and was greeted by loud chatter about yesterday events. I saw that Alpha Rueso was sitting at the head of the table, as usually, he looked happy and well considering the bandage on his arm.

 I sat down in my chair and realized Zach spot was empty and so was Kyle's. I looked around the table but didn't see either one of them. I knew why Zach wasn't there but Kyle was a different story. I looked across the table at Kyle's buddy Emerald.

"Psst, Emerald?" 

Emerald stopped shoving food down his throat and looked up at me,

"What?" 

I watched disgusted, as a piece of bacon loudly slapped the table as it felled from his mouth.

 I sighed.

"Where is Kyle?"

Emerald looked shocked, as he realized the chair next to him was empty. He looked back at me and shrugged and then went back shoving food down his throat. 

I mentally rolled my eyes. 

"Where could he be?"

I decided not to worry about it and eat some breakfast, so I can have strength for my Luna Lessons.

Suddenly Alpha Rueso stood up from his chair, "I have an announcement", he declared loudly.

Everyone at the table quiet down as they all faced forward, giving Alpha Rueso our undivided attention.

"I am holding a press conference today going over some necessary precautions dealing with our nightly patrols. With that being said, that means no lessons today and I expect everyone to be at the conference at twelve, before lunch. That is all," He stepped back from the table and walked out the double doors. 

Soon when he walked out, everyone started whispering loudly about how they thought the conference was going to go. 

I scooted back in my chair and decided I was going to visit Zach, since I had the morning free.

"Maybe I will stop by Kyle's room to see if he was there."

As I rounded the corner, down the hall where Kyle's room was at. I notice the cleaning lady leaving the room. Which meant Kyle wasn't in there because the cleaning lady wouldn't have cleaned it, if he was there.   

I sighed to myself. 

"Where could he be?"

I turned around and started heading towards the Medicus, when I got in I waved at the nurse that was taking care of Zach last night. She smiled and waved back at me. 

I saw Zack, in his assign bed talking with a lady. As I got closer I notice the lady was Ms. Grimes. I looked confused as Zack noticed me and ushered me to come closer. 

"Oh here she is", Zack laughed.

Ms. Grimes turned around and smiled. "Hi sweetie", she gave me a quick hug, "I wanted to stop by to see how Zack was doing, it was all over the papers, before coming to grab you."

"Grab me?", I asked confused.

Ms. Grimes raised her left eyebrow, "your dad didn't tell you? Oh no matter, he probably forgot due to the crazy incident that happen last night. I wanted to go over some wedding details with you, if your not busy of course."

I looked at Zach, who had put his arms around me. 

He smelled nice, like soap and pine cones.

"pine cones? Did he go for a run today? "

"That would be fine" I answered. "Since I have the morning free, and I just planned on hanging out with this kid anyway", I joked as I nuzzled my head into his chest. 

Zach gently kissed my forehead and Ms. Grimes started swooning immediately.

The meeting went all morning until Zach's nurse told us that the press conference was getting ready to start in fifteen minutes and that we all have to be there.

"Well that's my cue to leave," Ms. Grimes said as she grabbed her things and started heading towards the door. She waved goodbye at us as the doors closed behind her.

"Do you think she prefer to fly everywhere or walk? Zach asked, intertwining his fingers with mine and pulling me towards the door."

"Wait are you going to the press conference? Shouldn't you rest?" I asked concerned.

"Alpha Rueso did say it was mandatory, Zack smiled, "Remember?"

I smiled back at him as I let him lead me out the doors.

When we walked into the auditorium, everyone was still standing around talking amongst themselves, even Alpha Rueso was still greeting people and having a loud conversation with another man. 

Zach lead me to two empty chairs in the back, we sat down.

"I know I know", Alpha Rueso laughed loudly, "But the crazy thing is, that I hooked them two up. I told Kyle man to man, If you like her, go for her. And like father like son, he did!

My ears perked up.

"WHAT?!" 

Suddenly the doors to the auditorium opened and Kyle walked in, holding hands with the news reporter girl and before I knew it I shifted into my wolf form.
