You saved my life. // imAllexx

It was a lovely Friday afternoon and you had just finished your busy shift at a cafe. Getting your things from the back room and getting changed out of your uniform, you quickly say goodbye to your co-workers.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then" Tash, your manager, says as you walk past her. You shuffle out the door, placing your earbuds in and blast your favourite song. You walk down the street with your head down.

Suddenly you bump into someone and fall on your butt. You look up to find a bloke staring down at you, almost in a trance.

"Well are you going to help me up or not?" You question, he quickly snaps out of it and pulls you to your feet.

"I'm so sorry, I- I wasn't looking where I was going" He mumbles bashfully. You just shake your head and smile,

"Oh it's alright, well I better be off now." You say in return, still smiling, placing your earbuds back in. You continue down the street. Unbeknownst that the bloke is still looking at you.

You're crossing the street, when a car comes speeding down the road. The car is about 6 feet from you, when a pair of hands grab you by your waist.

"Watch out!" They yell, pulling you from the cars path. Shakily, you look up and find the bloke from before. Absolutely terrified, you clutch onto his chest.

"You need to be more careful." He says, shaking his head. He unlatches your arms from him and walks you too a near-by bench. You're is body shaking. He sits next to you, placing his hand on your shoulder.

"Are you alright?" He asks, genuinely concerned. You look up to him with your big (E/C) eyes and mumble something along the lines of no. He rubs your back in a calming motion, trying to help you relax.

"I think you just saved my life." You whisper,
"Thank you."

You and the bloke sit for a few minutes in silence, until he asks,
"So what's your name?"

"(Y/n), how about you?"

"I'm Alex, it's nice to meet you
(y/n)." Alex smiles and holds his hand out for you to shake, you look at him weirdly and shake his hand.

"Would you like to get lunch with me?" He asks randomly, you raise your eyebrows,

"Uh sure, I don't see why not?" You shrug.

You both end up going to Nando's, as it was just up the road. The two of you talk for hours about random things. By the end of lunch, you knew that Alex has a Youtube channel, that he lives with his mate George and that you were both the same age.

He learnt that you were working at a cafe to help pay your rent, that you were attending University and that you had a roommate named (b/f/n).

You exchanged numbers in hopes of staying in touch. Later that night you got a text from Alex,

Alex :)
Hey (Y/n), fancy meeting for coffee next week?

(Y/n) :P
Sure thing, let me know x

——- Time skip 4 months ——-

"What's up fuckers." You yell, walking into Alex and George's  shared apartment. You and Alex have been dating for 3 months. Surely enough, you became good friends with all of his mates.

"(Y/n), shut the fuck up!" George yells from the living room, where he's playing Fortnite with Joshy.

"Buzzkill." You retaliate,
"Where's Al?"
You walk into the kitchen and raid the fridge.

"His room, Josh hold on, (Y/N) STOP STEALING OUR FOOD!" He yells as you run away cackling, a packet of gummybears in your hands.

Making your way to Alex's room, you see he's recording a video. You walk up to him, making sure you're not in the shot so he doesn't notice you. You wrap your arm around his neck and kiss his cheek, frightening him.

"(Y/n) what are you doing here?"

"Just thought I'd come see you, is that a problem?" You ask with a grin. He shakes his head, you take a seat in his lap and eat the gummybears as he continues the video.

Nothing could be more perfect then this.

Shortish chapter i'm sorry,

I was working on a really long Memeulous chapter but you guys seemed to really like Alex.
I'll upload the next chapter in a few hours :)
