It was a month after Alex's 19th.

For his birthday you two hung out with all of your mates. But later in the night, when everyone went home, you gave him your present.

Yourself in new lingerie.

To say he was happy with his present would be an understatement. You both enjoyed yourselves that night, but forgetting one key thing.

Protection.

"(Y/n)?" Alex asks from outside the bathroom door. You were laying on the cold tiles, silently crying.
'There is no way that it was positive, it has to be wrong.' You think, letting tears run down your soft cheeks.
'What will Alex say?' That thought alone made you cry harder. You love Alex more then anything, you didn't want to loose him.

Looking down at the pregnancy test in your hand, you throw it across the room, letting it hit the shower door.

"Love, Please open the door." He asks softly.

Standing up and leaning against the sink, you take a deep breath. Looking into the mirror above the vanity, your eyes glowing red, tears staining your cheeks. You wipe your eyes with the end of your hoodie's sleeves and open the door.

"Oh (Y/n), What's wrong?" Alex says, wrapping his arms around you. Letting you cry into his chest. Alex looks down at you, wiping your cheeks with the pads of his thumbs.
"Talk to me, Love."

You were choking on any words threatening to spill out, You couldn't do it. Sighing, he motions for you to sit down on the ground, he followed your movement.

You were both siting cross legged on the tiles, you stopped crying. You were looking blankly at the floor in front of you. Alex was trying not to breakdown in front of you, watching you cry breaks his heart.

"What's going on (Y/n)." He asks gently. You finally look up and meet his eyes. You could see how much hurt his eyes were holding, that alone made a tear fall from your right eye. Nodding your head towards the shower door, you hiccup. Alex follows your gaze and his mouth drops.

"Is that a pregnancy test?" He asks shocked, making you cry again.

'Of course he's mad.' You whimper at this thought. He walks over and picks it up.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He yells, to your surprise, you see a smile slowly spreading across his face.

"Wait you're not mad?" You ask, your voice cracking, your throat is killing you from all the crying.

"Why would I be mad?" He says with furrowed brows,
"This is amazing, i'm going to be a dad!"

The smile on his face makes your stomach fill with butterflies.

Alex picks you up off the floor and hugs you tightly, not too tight in fear of hurting the baby.

He spins you around, peppering your face with kisses.

Nothing could be more perfect in this moment.

—— 8 Months Later ——
The baby was due in less then a week, your stomach was huge.

You decided not to find out the gender until birth. You and Alex came up with two names: Jamie or Darcy. They were both gender neutral names so it didn't matter if it was a boy or girl.

"I really like the name Darcy." You say. You and Alex are lounging around the house, not much to do when your stomach is the size of a watermelon.

"I like Jamie." He counters, smirking at the dilemma.

"But Darcy is a cute name."

"It's literally the name of Will's dog." Alex laughs,
"We're not naming our kid after a dog (y/n)."
You huff dramatically,

"Well we're not naming our kid after James." You laugh, James was extremely happy when he was told about the pregnancy. So were all of your mates.

"Well too bad." You sigh in response, knowing how stubborn Alex gets.

"Okay, Jamie it is then." You reply, rubbing your eyes. You hadn't been sleeping much lately, 'Jamie' tends to kick a lot. Alex leans down and kisses your stomach gently. The sight making your heart flutter,

'he's going to be such a good dad' You think to yourself.

"We love you Jamie." Alex says, resting his hand on the bump.
"And I love you, (y/n)." He finishes, giving you a kiss on the lips.
