Everyone was excited, everyone kept talking about the day. They shared their plans, how they wanted to dress, where they wanted to go, with whom they wanted to go. I didn't pay much attention though, I was rarely invited to those things. But I loved Halloween so my personal plan was to stay home, watch some scary movies and give candies to those who came asking for them.

I never imagined my plans to go so differently...

"Come on! You gotta dress at least!" My best friend said over the phone, "If you don't, I will! I'm a few blocks away, anyways. I already got your dress!"
"Fineeeeee, but don't expect me to go to that party! I still plan on staying home" I guessed that dressing a little wouldn't hurt anyone.
"Sure, sure. I'll convince you somehow. I don't fancy staying the whole night giving candies to kids, it's witch night!"

Black lipstick was one thing, but the dress she had brought was another. At least I could keep my boots, gave me the grunge vibes. But I definitely didn't feel like a witch, at least not the conventional. "Come on, don't move!" She said as she tried to apply some mascara to my eyelashes. "Just be careful... that brush is scarier than this night!" She rolled her eyes but smiled. "Just hang in there, okay? I want you to look flawless tonight!"

I didn't understand why she was making a fuss about the whole thing until a few hours later. We weren't the social type so it was very unlike us to be dressing up and even adding some makeup, even my mother was surprised. But apparently, the people in our class decided that going for some treat or trick was more fun than going to the party our seniors had organized. Of course, we had to look good to give them candies... or that would haunt us the rest of the year.

"It's your turn..." I gave my friend a look of annoyance, it was my turn indeed but my favourite part of the movie was about to come. "Go! They're waiting!"
With a groan, I stood up from the coach and headed to the door. "Happy Halloween!" I said as I opened the door, expecting a group of kids or teens, never imagined it would only be a boy. "Trick or treat?" His voice sounded familiar, his whole persona was familiar. It took me a while to realize it was Oh Sehun from my class, standing in front of me and waiting for me to give him candies. "Right... the candies," I said awkwardly as I took some and offered them to him.

But even with that cape and Dracula makeup, he managed to make me nervous, only resulting in me dropping the candies before even handing them to him. "I-I'm sorry!" I muttered as we both knelt and picked them up. "It's okay," he had been smiling the whole time, I wonder if this was his way of mocking me. He always seemed to enjoy annoying me during class.
"You make a good witch, you know?" He caught me by surprise, I thanked the ridiculous makeup I had on that he wouldn't be able to see the natural redness of my skin. "Say, why aren't you out there getting some candies? You should come too..." It almost sounded like he was inviting me, which I tried to deny. "I think... it's already too late to start" I looked into his eyes, wondering why he was still by my door. Why he hadn't left quickly like the others or why he had come alone. "You can ask me then, I'll share" He smirked, knowing that whole sentence was enough to make my whole world spin. I debated on closing the door on his nose or playing along, I chose the second.
"Trick or tre-" I couldn't finish the sentence as in that moment his lips touched mine. It was a quick peck, but more than I could have ever wished. "Sorry... I chose trick instead of treat. Now, should I kiss you again to convince you to go to the party with me?"
