Love is this [Angsty]

Your hair was waving with the wind, your eyes were staring at the sky but tears ran down your cheeks. Your back was against Sehun's torso, his strong arms were wrapped around your waist and his hands crossed resting on your belly. Your sobs were suffocated by the city's noises and your body trembled even when he was giving you all his warmth.

You were crying silently in his arms with your hear broken and your dreams destroyed. Feeling like you had nothing, you were watching how the day passed by and took away all the hope you had in you. You would be completely devastated if it wasn't for your caring boyfriend. Sehun had been holding you the past hours, hearing you cry and trying to mend the broken pieces of your heart with his bare hands.

"Shhh... babe you need to calm down. You've been crying for hours and this won't take us anywhere.." But you didn't want to listen, he kept saying the same, trying to make you feel a little better but everything was too much for you. You felt that everything you did went wrong and no matter how much you tried to get out of the abyss, it always pulled you back inside.

"Why am I doing this Sehun? Why should I continue... it's not worth fighting. I can't do what I love. I don't know where all the people I love is. I feel I lost the fight, I have no strength, I don't want to continue. I don't understand how people can get over these kind of situations..."

All the hope was lost. Your voice cracked every 3 words and your eyes were filled with tears until you ran out of them. You never cried until your eyes stopped tearing up. You were so broken and felt completely alone.

"I see in you a solider Y/N... A warrior".

Sehun's deep and serious voice said. He would normally try to make you smile and laugh, you always thought he couldn't deal with tears, that he would end up crying. But in that rooftop he proved you wrong. You were forgetting the most important part, you weren't alone, you still had some hope to hold onto.

"Y/N... you still have me. I'm not leaving you, I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here holding you and giving you my love" His lips got close to your neck and gave you little kisses until he could find the right words to say. He wasn't hesitant, he just wanted to tell you exactly what you needed to hear. He wanted to make you understand that not everything was over.

"Love.. love is the reason why you should continue Y/N. Love comes in many ways and forms. You do what things because you love them. You continue because your love for it is bigger than the pain. It's worth fighting because love makes everything have a meaning". You froze at his words and waited for him to say more. You felt like the minutes were hours and that your heart stopped beating. You couldn't even breathe. You knew he was right, you knew exactly what he meant and you had forgotten it. How could I be so stupid? That was your last thought before his voice brought you once again back to reality.

"Isn't this, this love, what keeps us together? Isn't this what makes me stay right by your side? You are forgetting babe, that you only need that to feel alive and complete, that nothing else matters if you have it. You are forgetting why it's worth the pain" And you remembered, you remembered how he taught you that before, how, even when the difficult times came, he showed you how to live and enjoy life. He was doing that again in that rooftop, in that summer night. He was being more than your boyfriend, he was being your shield and sword. You loved him for this, because his love was so big that it moved oceans, he was the perfect example of a person who never gave up. He pointed to your heart and kept his hands pressing against your chest.
