She hurried away, eager to please
The ones who expected much from her.
Her eyes did not see the danger,
Instead watching visions of pretty dreams.
But as she stumbled and fell
Over the staircase of hell
She flailed and she clenched her mouth shut
Biting her tongue and drawing blood,
The only sound echoing was force of her demise.
And her body felt the pain,
The pain that throbbed through every part of her.
But she got to her feet
And said she was fine

With her head held high
She walked with the gait of Hephaestus,
Entered a room and shut the door.
Lock it well, lock it tight--
She breathed softly,
Slowly
Calmly
IamfineIamfineIamfine
And unleashed a storm.
