Deception is easy.
It's not too difficult
If you're willing to fake
Fake your way
Like plastic wading out
Into the endless waters.
To trick
To make someone fall
For a lie.
Spun from fabricated webs
Weaving a story
Meant to show
That people can be idiots.
That we can be gullibly stupid.
But the worst thing one can do
The worst thing I can do,
Is to deceive myself.
To fool myself into
Believing.
And that is the worst trick
That can set
One's heart to grieving...
