Hunger (Taekook)

Prologue

Please read the entire story description for warnings. I decided to not make an introduction chapter explaining it all again.

This chapter will set up the story and the characters a little.

"Let's do the routine one more time and then we can call it a day!" Our choreographer, Sungdeuk, announced.

I took a deep breath, taking a tiny sip of water as I watched the rest of the group take large sips before getting back into position.

Sungdeuk turned on the music and we started to dance. By now the moves had been engraved in my head, so I didn't have to think too hard on what I was doing. My feet moved in sync with the six other members. My hands and arms moved to the beat of the music.

After the choreography was older, we all collapsed onto the cold laminate floor, our breaths heavy and sweat glistening our skin.

I felt someone move closer to me, a hand brushing against mine.

"You did good today, Tae! All of the work you've put in is really starting to show."

"Thanks Hoseok-hyung." I forced a smile, feeling my heavy breathing finally beginning to subside.

"Who wants to grab some dinner? I'm buying!" Namjoon shouts, wiping his face with a clean towel handed to him by a crew member.

Everyone piped up excitedly about food. I swallowed harshly and pulled out fake enthusiasm.

"Let's all go clean up and meet in the living room in an hour."

The group dispersed once we made it back to the dorm, all going to take a shower or change their clothes.

I watched as my roommate Namjoon went into the bathroom first, hearing the door lock. I sighed and made sure the bedroom door was locked before sitting on the edge of my bed. I saw my reflection in the mirror across the room, making me stand up and walk closer to it.

I saw the difference in how my skin hung on my body, but it wasn't enough. I lifted up my shirt to reveal a slight tummy. I wasn't skinny enough. I wasn't handsome enough. I wasn't good enough to be here in this group, or good enough to have so many fans dying to meet me.

I'm not good enough for any of it.

This update is hella short but I'm lazy. Plus, every chapter will be much much longer.
