"And it's Friday night and it's kicking in
And I can't dress, they're gonna crucify me
Oh, but you and all your vibrant youth
How could anything bad ever happen to you?
You make a fool of death with your beauty, and for a moment"
"Pool time!" Jimin shouted once we walked inside of the dorm. He took off towards his room, shutting the door before Jungkook and Hoseok could get in, leaving the males pouting outside.
I escaped to the bedroom to change, taking my time in the hopes that I could sneak out to the pool while the others were distracted. Namjoon came and went, not wasting any time with changing.
I slid on my swim trunks, tying them as tight as they would go, but they still sunk off my hips. I threw on a t-shirt in an attempt to cover my chest. I put a headband on to keep the hair out of my eyes.
I turned around to leave, stopping in my tracks when I saw Jungkook leaning against the doorframe, an eyebrow raised with his arms crossed on his chest.
He took a step towards me, his hard expression softening.
"Tae... What-Have you been eating enough?"
I rolled my eyes, sliding on a pair of sandals. "I'm fine. Come on, we're going to make people question where we are." I tried to walk away, but he gripped my wrist tightly.
"Please, Tae. I need you to be honest with me. Y-You're so so skinny."
His eyes were filled with concern, making me sigh. His grip loosened slightly, but was still strong enough to hold me back if need be. "I, just, uh, wanted to lose some weight. I wasn't happy with myself. Are you happy now?"
He took a sharp breath in through his nose before nodding, releasing his grip. I turned on my heel and made my way to the pool to be with the rest of the group.

JUNGKOOK POV
"Pool time!" I groaned as Jimin shouted loudly next to me before taking off towards the bedroom he shared with Hobi-hyung and me. I heard the click of the lock, rolling my eyes as I leaned against the wall. I caught sight of Taehyung run off quickly to his shared room with Namjoon. I almost went into the room, but the second I took a step, the door swung open and Jimin ran out.
"Come on you slow asses! It's time for us to go to the pool!" He ran past us and out of the dorm before anyone could even process what was going on.
I shook my head and walked into the room, quickly changing into my swimsuit and went back into the living room. I followed Hoseok out to the pool, my eyes instantly scanning the whole rooftop for Taehyung, frowning when he still hadn't come outside.
"Kook, you okay?" Yoongi shouted from the bench he sat at with his glass of wine. Burn The Stage movie who?
I nodded. "Tae isn't out here yet. I'm going to go check on him."
Without waiting for a response, I wandered back inside and found myself in the open doorway of Taehyung's room. My breath hitched in my throat when I saw his appearance. His skin hung loosely off of his hip bones, his ribs starting to prominently show. His swim trunks fell off of his hips, and I could tell they were as tight as he could make it. His little tummy was no longer there, making my eyebrows furrow together. He threw a shirt on over his head.
He turned around, his eyes growing wide in shock. I took a step towards him, feeling my facial expression soften as I saw the scared look on his face.
"Tae... What-Have you been eating enough?" I couldn't help but stutter. I was in absolute shock.
Taehyung rolled his eyes. He started to slide on a pair of sandals, obviously trying to avoid the question. "I'm fine. Come on, we're going to make people question where we are." He tried to walk through the doorway, but my hand found a firm grip on his wrist.
"Please, Tae. I need you to be honest with me. Y-You're so so skinny." I was practically begging him at this point. I hated seeing him like this. I loosened my grip slightly, feeling weak and helpless.
"I just, uh, wanted to lose some weight. I wasn't happy with myself. Are you happy now?"
I felt myself take in a sharp breath through my nose. I nodded, deciding to let the matter go for the time being. He left the room and made his way to the pool without another word.
I watched him leave, a lump forming in my throat. I tried to force the tears inside, but failed, feeling myself unable to hold back. I found myself going through all of the odd behavior he has been displaying. Dinner the other night where he said he didn't feel well, being weak in dance practices.
I wiped the tears from my cheeks, going to the bathroom to splash some water on my cheeks before going back to join the rest of the group. I couldn't help but feel distracted the rest of the afternoon, constantly keeping an eye on Taehyung. Every time he wore a genuine smile, the butterflies in my chest and stomach fluttered. I vowed to keep an eye on Taehyung, while also working to get a genuine smile to appear on his face more often.
