"Kookie, where are you taking me exactly?"

I chuckled and pecked his cheek before turning around to head to my wardrobe. "It's a surprise."

"Well, I need to know what to wear at least, if you're going to be a dickhead and not tell me."

I turned to look at him and saw him pouting. I tried not to coo at the adorable sight. "You look fantastic in everything you wear, baby."

He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You're such a big help."

I laughed and shrugged. "I just want you to be dressed comfortably. It's not a super formal dinner or anything of that sort, so don't worry. Maybe bring a jacket."

He huffed and nodded, walking out my room, leaving me alone and smiling to myself as I got ready for our first official date.

I moved a hand through my bangs as I leaned against the car door, waiting for Taehyung. I adjusted my blue button down, untucking it after debating with myself between whether I wanted it tucked or untucked.

I heard the door squeak open, making my head jump up. My mouth formed a large smile when I saw my boyfriend.

It still was a weird feeling to call this ethereal being "my boyfriend," but it was also the best feeling.

He walked towards me wearing a pair of green pants, a burgundy top, and a dark blue cardigan. Covering his blonde locks was a burgundy beanie. His cheeks were a light pink shade as he caught me staring at him.

"D-Do I look that bad?" He ducked his head as he went to go back inside to change.

"Baby, no!" I grabbed his wrist lightly and made it so we were facing each other. I cupped his chin with a hand and gave him a gentle smile. "You look absolutely adorable. I think my heart stopped beating once I laid eyes on you, my love."

He giggled. "You're so cheesy, Kookie."

I pecked his lips, watching as he wore a large smile on his face. "Are you ready for our date, babe?"

He nodded, and I opened the passenger-side door for him and made sure he was settled in the car before I closed the door, skipping to the driver's-side and climbing in.

I turned the radio onto his favorite station and buckled my seat belt.

"Tae, baby, can you close your eyes?" I chuckled a little once I saw his curious expression.

"W-W-Why?"

I reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a blindfold. "Because it's a surprise. Now, please don't ruin the work I've put into this and close your eyes."

He sighed and nodded, closing his eyes. I covered his eyes with a blindfold before pecking his lips. I watched as his cheeks grew a tint of pink.

I put the car back in drive and drove for another minute or two before I pulled over again. I unbuckled myself and Tae and climbed out, helping him out of the car. I tried to guide him, but his clumsiness made it hard for him to not trip on this.

I sighed and made him climb on my back while still blindfolded. I could hear the crunching of the leaves beneath my feet.

"Are you kidnapping me? What is going on, Kookie?"

I laughed at how he was starting to freak out.

"We only have a little bit more walking until we're there, I promise."

Suddenly, twinkling lights came into view. These lights illuminated an elaborate wooden treehouse, fit even with a yellow slide.

I set my boyfriend down carefully before walking behind him, a hand on his waist.

I leaned in close to his ear. "Are you ready for your surprise?"

He nodded, a wide smile on his face.

I took the blindfold off, watching as his face filled with joy.

He walked closer to the structure, his fingertips grazing the wood gently.

"We used to come here as trainees."

I nodded, following him over to the treehouse. I made my way up the steps and sat down inside, where there were pillows and blankets, along with a picnic basket of food. Fairy lights were attached to the ceiling.

He soon sat down next to me, wasting no time in opening the picnic basket.

He pulled out the bottle of champagne and two glasses. "Shall we?"

I chuckled and nodded, grabbing the corkscrew for the cork and opening the bottle. We clinked our glasses tpgether and took a sip.

"Why did you choose for us to come here, Kookie?" He leaned against my chest as we sipped on our champagne.

I took in a deep breath, pressing a wet kiss on his cheek.

"This is where I fell in love with you. We were under the night sky, the stars shining brightly, and your eyes glistened marvelously. I couldn't take my eyes off you, you were so damn breathtaking."

He turned his head so he could look right at me before he sat up, setting his glass down in the corner.

"Tae?"

He giggled as he crawled onto my lap, his hands cupping my face. "My God, Kookie. It's still a miracle to me how you of all people love me. It's incredible that this is where you fell in love with me, since this just so happens to be where I realized I love you."

He leaned forward and kissed my lips. I could feel us smiling against each other as we showed each other the love we felt.

He pulled away and grabbed my glass, downing the rest of the drink before setting it next to his.

"Kookie?"

"Yes, Tae baby?"

He averted his eyes, looking towards his lap as he spoke. "C-Could, um..."

I pushed a strand of hair behind his ear with a soft smile. "Could what? What do you want, babe?"

He sighed. "Could you, uh, perhaps, show me?"

"Show you what?"

His cheeks burnt red. "I want you to show me how much you love me in the place that we found our love for each other."
