Sidewalk a'walking
Strained steps callousing at what I call a city
Where the people dance with their hands connected
Like a really sweet love story
Where I imagine the ballrooms with history
Regality
Romance
Retribution
For all the beau geste
The people dance with her fingers interlocked
Spinning and veering
Like a fantasy story
With its end
Unwritten
