I knew you would have done everything so I would have the best even if it made you have nothing

                          
I knew you wanted me to love myself as much as you loved me

                          
I knew you why you would call me beautiful and smart everyday

                          
So that one day, when I didn't have you nearby, that I would remember these words

                          
But I didn't remember the words

                          
I remembered the words of others

                          
I forgot your love 

                          
And I focused on hate

                          
I ruined myself
