I felt the soothing night Breeze as I opened the window. Then, the stranger spoke, " Here is a letter from the manor Miss Emma Woods. This will tell you everything." I looked at him confused. What on earth is the manor? How does he know my name? He must have confused me with someone else. But then again, how did he know my full name?

" I'm sorry sir but I think you've got the wrong person." I said trying to feign ignorance. The stranger just smiled creepily. " Oh but Miss Emma, you are the right person. Unless you're telling me that your name is not Emma Woods." I stood by the window, speechless. The stranger shoved the letter into my hands and left. Not before saying, " By the way, you will like what's inside the envelope. I shall see you very soon."

I stayed in that position for a few seconds. Did he just give me a letter and left? I thought he was going to kill me! I finally snapped out of my momentary thoughts and looked at the mysterious envelope in my hand, then back to the window.

I hurriedly closed my window and draw the curtains down. I scrambled to my bed, sat cross-legged and proceeded to open the envelope. It had a bloody red stamp to seal the envelope itself right in the middle. The stamp looked had some sort of crest. As I opened the seal and reached for the letter, I released a breath that I did not know I had held in. I carefully unveil the letter. I saw very neat and cursive words written on the letter.

It read:

Dear Miss Emma Woods,

We are pleased to announce that you have been invited to the manor. In the manor, you are required to play a game with other people that are invited. The game is simple. All you have to do is win the game and you will get your reward. This reward has no limitations, it can be gold, fabulous clothes, anything that you desire. We will give you your reward immediately.

Your presence is needed two days time. We will give you a day to say your goodbyes. Then the day after that, you will leave your house and go to the forest beside your house. We will send an escort to bring you there.

If you are not present in the forest in two days time, we , or rather someone will kill your Mother and all your loved ones.
