" Oh...erm sorry I was directed here by the receptionist. I was just curious." I managed to mumble out.
"It's alright dear, most people are curious too when they step into this room. I don't blame you." A woman in her mid-twenties replied. She was wearing the hospital's working outfit that looks quite torn up at the bottom of her uniform. She looked hella suspicious especially when she had a crazy glint in her eyes while she was approaching the chair.
She then picked up helmet and turned towards me. " Let me show you how this device works, Emily, since you probably would need to use this device at least three times a day for our patients to get better." After that comment, she reached towards her pocket to take out a walkie talkie and spoked into it.
"Hello, hello, please get patient 105 into Room 66B. Yes...yes...I don't care...she needs more doses of this because she is clearly not getting any better now is she? Good...alright.." Then, she puts it back in the pocket.
After a few minutes, I hear the door open. A girl that was about 5ft 4 appeared in the room. Her bright aurben hair covered most of her face so I couldn't make out how her face looked like. As soon as she stepped foot into the room, she was grabbed roughly by the shoulder and was dragged to the electric chair forcefully.
"I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THAT STUPID ASS CHAIR! LET ME GO YOU BITCH!" the girl screamed as she was trying to get out of the nurse's grasp. Unfortunately, she was unable to and that caused her to look like an even more psycholopath than she originally was. With one sharp glare from the nurse, the patient's actions came to a halt, knowing that she could no longer deny the inevitable of receiving her doses. The nurse then pulled her to the chair and strapped the girl in. She proceeds to go to the machine beside the chair and beckoned me over with her fingers, not needing to look back at me.
Once I reached towards her, she began explaining how I should use this machine while I see the girl twisting herself on the chair that she was strapped on. How was this helpful for patients like this? It doesn't make sense!
"Alright Emily, this is the procedure. You need to strap the patient onto the chair, then turn on the machine and lastly give her the helmet. After all that, turn this knob to the required level and leave it on for a few minutes. Now you try and do it." The nurse sat back on the chair that was beside the machine, allowing me to fully control the situation.
Hey guys sorry for not updating as often. Sometimes I kinda lose inspiration to continue so I stop for a while. But I'm kinda back so do look forward to the updates!!!
