Today was the day, no denying it.

Today marked the day Juvia began to feel a fluttery nervousness in her stomach

Both a good and a bad nervous, and it all started because of this...

"I'm so excited that I just can't contain my excitement", Ray told his daughter.

Juvia lightly giggled.

"I understand father, but you've got to keep yourself in check. We don't want you picking out the wrong dress"

"Ah! Of course, how could I forget the most important part of the wedding!", he told himself more than he told her.

"I'm picking the dress, you know?"

"Of course I know, father. How could I forget"

"Then I'll be going now", Ray told his daughter and she nodded. She waved bye while he left the driveway in his blue car. In all honesty, she was frightened that her father was picking the dress more than anything else. Ray's excitement made him forget things, and that was what Juvia was most concerned about.  She sighed as she made her way back into the house. She had this gut feeling that things weren't going to go well today.

The boisterous sounds from the mall made it seem all the more lively. Ray just couldn't contain his smile as he looked upon the crowd and the different stores. He came across a bridal wear store which he instantly fell in love with.

As he entered the store, Ray's eyes landed on one dress that caught his attention. It was a white, lace strap dress which dipped into the waist and puffed out all the way to the bottom. The skirt part of the dress was decorated in gleaming beads. A sparkly silver belt sat on the waist of the dress.

'This dress will make Juvia sparkle',  he thought.

He flipped through the dresses and picked up a large size. He then headed to the counter to inquire about something.

"I was wondering if this dress would fit my daughter", Ray asked as he pulled up a picture of Juvia on his phone and showed it to the cashier lady.

The lady squinted to take a better look at the picture, then checked the size and scoffed.

"You're daughter's very thin and this dress is veeeeeeeeeeerrrryyyy big", she emphasized the word.

"But...", Ray trailed off not sure how to form this sentence.

"She's very big from here", he made a gesture with his arms to his chest and the lady chuckled.

"But still, the size isn't going to fit her", the lady told him.

Ray thought for a moment. "You're right...", he said before disappearing into the stall's of dresses and coming back a couple of seconds later.

"I had a gut feeling the XL would fit right"

The cashier lady only stared at him before sighing and scanning the dress.

Ray knew he was going to be right about this one, he just knew...

Juvia was wondering why her father was taking so long.  It was only a dress, it should have taken abot thirty to fourty minutes.

Juvia paced back and forth around the house, and just as she was about to pick up the phone to make a call, the doorknob rattled and she heard footsteps and the sound of a door shutting right after.

Juvia quickly rushed to the door and helped her father carry the heavy bag with the 10Kg dress in it(or at least that's what it felt like to Juvia)

"Quickly go", her father ushered and Juvia rushed up the stairs, her father right behind her.

"If you need anything, call me. I'm right outside", her father told her and she nodded her head before shutting the door and locking it.

Juvia took a look at the dress and had an instant gut feeling that it wouldn't fit her. She tried it on anyways and had instantly regretted it. Although it had fit her from her chest area, the rest of the dress was so loose that it drooped down. Juvia suddenly became frantic, and then decided to tell her dad about the current situation.

"Father....", Juvias voice was lower than a whisper. Ray had a hard time hearing and stuck his ear to the door.

"What's wrong?", he asked and she hesitated before replying.

"The dress...", she began but then stopped.

"Tell me", Ray prompted and she took in a deep breath before blurting it out

"The dress doesn't fit me. It's way too lose", she said then instantly covered her mouth, regretting her actions.

It was too late though. Ray became worried. He should have listened to the cashier lady.

But that was the least of both of their worries,

Because Juvia's wedding was in 30 minutes...
