Juvia's gut never let her down, and today was no exception. The ominous feeling she had turned out to be true, something wrong was going to happen today--she was sure of it. So when the red haired girl barged through the doors after their wedding had come to an end, all Juvia's suspicions came true.

The lot of guests stopped and stared at her with surprise while she just smirked at them. Gray had the worst reaction of them all, Juvia noticed. He looked more scared than surprised and Juvia had a bad feeling about what was going to happen next.

The red head entered the party area and smiled.

"Am I too late to object?"

Silver was the first to speak.

"C-Clarissa? What are you doing here?"

'She's the same woman we met before' Juvia thought.

"Oh why how lovely it is to see you too, Mr. Fullbuster..." Clarissa chuckled as she glared at the older man. She took a small steps and was now in the couple's vicinity. She looked at Gray, then at Juvia, and glared. Juvia didn't understand what exactly was going on. She felt alienated near the taller, more beautiful woman. She averted her gaze as the red haired girl bore into her soul. Clarissa inched closer to Juvia and stared down at her, Juvia feeling the pressure under her gaze and succumbing to it. She bowed her head in front of Clarissa in an attempt to avoid her gaze, but Clarissa held her chin between her index finger and thumb, and tilted her head up. She stared a good minute before scoffing a response.

"So this is who you chose as your wife, Gray?" she retorted mockingly and Juvia felt ashamed. She knew she wasn't ideal for Gray, and Clarissa's words stung her self-esteem.

"Leave her out of it," Gray responded. "The one you want to pick a fight with is me right? No need to drag other people into it"

Clarissa moved away from Juvia--thankfully--and moved towards Gray, placing her hand on his chest.

"This is the stupid promise you left me for?" Clarissa growled. "Are you happy now, after breaking mu heart and leaving me for this-" she stopped and looked at Juvia, then turned back to Gray. "This wretched looking witch?"

Juvia's face paled and her hands went cold. She could not believe what she was hearing. She didn't even know this woman for crying out loud! but here she was throwing insults right and left at her.

"Clarissa, I'm warning you, shut up and leave," Gray growled in a low voice. He could not tolerate her any longer after she insulted his wife like that. But Clarissa showed no sign of leaving, instead she pressed on.

"You don't even like this woman, Gray. You're only doing this for your parents sake, all for some dumb promise your fathers made. You told me before how you hated the idea, and hated this woman even more for wedging her self between our relationship and breaking us up"

'Lies' Gray thought. 'They are all lies.' He never once told her the reason why he broke up with her, or the fact that he was going to marry someone. Gray was sick and tried of Clarissa at that point in their relationship, and this was the perfect excuse to escape from her and break it off.

Gray turned his head to look at Juvia, but couldn't quite make out her expression as her head hung low, her bangs covering her eyes. It was Silver and Ray who interrupted Clarissa.

"That's enough Clarissa. We don't owe you anything, so just leave," Silver reprimanded with a stern voice.

"I've said all that I needed to...Fine, I'll leave. I hope you have a happy life," Clarissa commented sarcastically as she took her leave, storming out the doors the same way she came in.
