Its been a couple of weeks. I finally got out of the hospital a couple days ago and I got a ride home from Ash. Just to pick up my things my mother packed.
I walk in, I can feel my heart beating out of my chest.
Shes sitting near the kitchen counter, drinking some wine.
"Mom?" I say quietly.
"Neveah!" She stands up and rushes towards me. "I didnt know you were coming home today. I didnt get a phone call. Are you okay? What did they say? Baby I'm so sor-"
I cut her off.
"Mom. I'm fine. I'm still leaving."
She sits back down, looking defeated.
"Okay." she says.
"I know you just want the best for me mommy. But we barely see eachother anyways. Since dad-"
"We dont need to talk about your father." she scoffs
"Okay mom. I'm sorry." I walk towards her.
She pulls me in for a hug.
"They'll take care of you?" She whimpers.
"I know they'll protect me" I say as I hold her tighter.
"I love you so much Nevaeh" she whispers.
"I love you too mommy" I say as I let go.
Goodbye mom.

It's a quiet ride to Luke's. The only noises are coming from my silent sobs.
Ash finally breaks the silence.
"Baby" he puts his hand on my thigh.
"Everything will be okay. I love you"
I stay silent, thinking about Calum.
He takes his hand off of me. Suddenly looking upset.
I give in, I don't want him to be upset right now despite what hes going through.
"I love you more my sweetheart" I grab and kiss his hand.
He holds it tight.
"Her funeral is on Saturday" he says.
"I can go with you Ash" I suggest.
"No. Holl- I mean Nevaeh." well that's different.
"Listen. I dont think it's a good idea that you come" he adds.
"But why?" I ask
"I dont think we will work out" he says with tears in his eyes.
"Ashton stop the car"
He pulls over.
"Why?" I ask, with a desperate tone.
"I have something to admit to you Nevaeh." He looks down to his legs.
"Ashton just tell me." I demand.

*Calums POV*
Nevaeh got out of the hospital today. I want to stop by at Luke's to see if she made it there already. Try to talk to her. I miss her so fucking much.

Screw it, I'm going.

"Hello?" I say walking into Luke's house. Seems like no ones home.
I go to Luke's room, and find his beers. I grab one and sit on his desk.

Suddenly, I hear the front door slam.

"Uh, mate?" I yell.
I hear someone sobbing. I sneak downstairs.
Its Nevaeh.
I rush to her.
"What's wrong? Are you okay? What did he do to you?" I say worriedly
"Calum why didnt you tell me?" She sobs and I hold her close.
"I'm so sorry Nevaeh" i start to cry.
"Please don't ever let me go" she looks up to me.
"I promise you" I lean in for a kiss.

The front door opens. I let go instantly.
Its Luke.
"Oi! I didnt know you two were here- Oh Nevaeh what's wrong?" He asks as he noticed she was crying
"I think Ash told her the truth" I say.

*Nevaeh's POV*
I watch Calum as he folds my clothes and puts them into my dresser in my new room.

"So uh....would it kill me to ask about Ash?" He asks nervously.

"Its over" I look down at my feet. I can catch a glimpse of him grinning.

"I'm sorry to hear Neavae" he walks towards me.

"Calum" I say as he puts his hand on my cheek.

"You dont have to say anything" he whispers.

What am I doing? Should I just kiss him?
God I love Ash and i want to be there for him. But Calum..
I'm in love with Calum.

"I think...." I whisper
"I think I'm in love with you Cal"

We stand there in silence as he grabs onto my hips.

We kiss.
Not anything rough.
A soft, passionate kiss.

"I missed you so much Nevaeh" he says quietly.

We hear a bang downstairs.

"Cal..." I say worried.

"Wait here" he says as he rushes downstairs.

Well I can't just stand here and wait. I run down behind him.

And then theres Ashton, with bloody knuckles and a nose bleed.

"Ashton what the fuck happened?!" I scream

"It was fucking Styles" he pants.

"Jesus christ" Calum says looking at Ashton.

"Hes after us Cal, we have to leave. Now" Ashton grabs some paper towels and bursts out.

"Cal.." I walk towards him

"I have to go with him Neavae" his voice trembles.

He gives me a kiss on the forehead and leaves.
