Wade was unable to take his eyes off of her when she opened the door for him Friday afternoon. She looked absolutely stunning in the peach coloured dress she wore that accentuated her lush curves. Wade opened his mouth but found himself saying, "you look gorgeous."

Selya watched him closely but the look that would suggest that he couldn't wait to rip the dress off of her was absent and all she saw in his hazel eyes was a look that was of pure admiration. It didn't surprise her at all that Wade didn't see her as just another pretty face and a gorgeous body because he was a gentleman through and through. Selya had been curvy right from her adolescence and the years had seen her even more endowed and more attractive which was both a blessing and a curse. After her break up with Gale she made an attempt to retreat back into the shell where she wouldn't stand out or be noticed by anyone who would lead her on again but she soon realised that that was only cowardly and that she couldn't hide forever might as well rip off the band aid and move on someone better who would love her for who she was would come along someday that much Selya's sure of it.

Selya studied Wade and knew he meant what he said because the compliment lacked the undertone of one expecting so much more before the day was over and Selya liked that about Wade; his ability to be honest.

"Thank you." Selya smiled. "You don't look bad yourself." she gestured with her hand at his outfit of faded jeans and white shirt with the top buttons left undone it was the last look she expected to see on Wade who seemed to practically live and breathe in his custom suit and tie.

"Shall we?"

"Sure."

For some reason the ride from Manhattan to Long Island suddenly appeared too short. When all she wanted was a little more time to collect herself and prepare for her meeting with Wade's family her palms became sweaty all of a sudden and it didn't help that they were finally pulling in front of his mother's house where she had no doubt his family would be for the rehearsals.

Wade suddenly placed his hand on hers and squeezed her fingers reassuringly.

"You'll do just fine." He told her.

"No, they'll take one look at me, at us and know that this is all a lie."

Wade got out of the car then he pulled the door open for her and when she got out he held her hands in his.

"Alright then do this," he said. "Imagine i'm the guy you're head over heels in love with." Selya waited for the twinge of hurt which never came and all she seemed to concentrate on were his caring hazel eyes and easy smile. "And you can't take your eyes off of me," his words seemed to be hypnotic as Selya found herself doing just that, unaware that Wade had closed the distance between them, his arms anchored around her waist their lips inches apart. "And when our lips touch you can't think of anything else but how good you feel in my arms." When he kissed her slowly at first Selya was caught off guard and was unable to describe what she was feeling at that moment but couldn't help how they seamlessly fit each other. Their slow kissing changed momentum as Wade applied pressure on her mouth exploring the seams of her mouth and nipping at her lower lip she was just on the verge of losing herself totally to that one kiss when someone cleared their throat.

Selya lept out of Wade's arms suddenly like she'd been stung by a bee too embarrassed at being caught in that kind of position to look at the intruder.

"Dang that was hot." He whistled.

Tell me about it. Selya thought in mortification.

"Jasper, what do you want?" Wade demanded impatiently and Jasper raised both hands in mock surrender.
