"Hi, what can I get you today?" I asked the next customer.

The person in front of me put down her menu and I gasped. In front of me was Annabeth Jackson, the architect.  She put a finger to her lips in a Shh! gesture.

I think my body language would have given me away still. My eyes were wide and I was rigid. I'd bet my cheeks were flaming too. She handed me a card and rushed out. I looked down at it.

Meet me here.

She'd included an address too. I guess I'll be seeing more of her.

I was so utterly unprepared for this random meeting with one of my idols.

And arrived at the location on the card at six o'clock. It was a really pretty mansion. I practically skipped up the stairs to the front door an rang the door bell.

A young boy of about six years of age answered the door. He looked up at me with his inquisitive green eyes. They were rimmed with electric blue, though. He looked up at me. "Who are you?"

"Luke!" came Annabeth's voice. She appeared at the door, quickly whispering something to the boy, who ran off. She smiled. "Hi, please, come in."

I came inside and was taken to a large room, likely a sitting room. "Please wait here."

She ran off and could hear a "Percy!"

All I could think was: Wait, like the Olympic Swimmer?

Sure enough, Percy Jackson, Olympic Gold Medalist came, towel drying his hair. "Percy!" Annabeth cried in vain. "You're ruining my floors!"

Percy blushed. "Sorry, Wise Girl."

Annabeth sighed, pulling the towel away from Percy and wiping the ground with it. Luke, who'd greeted me at the door ran off. He returned with another towel. Annabeth smiled, "Thanks,"

Luke glared at Percy, who was still dripping water. "Really Dad?"

"Don't take sides with your mother Luke!"

Annabeth gave a smile smile. "Go get your brother and sister for me, will you? I'll take care of your dad."

"He's such a mama's boy." Percy sighed.

"Ryan is a Daddy's boy." Annabeth pointed out.

It clicked for me at that moment. They were married. With kids. And how didn't I know this?

"He's a baby!"

"Exactly, babies are impartial."

"You're impossible."

Annabeth laughed. "I love you."

Percy scoffed but was silenced when Annabeth kissed him. On the lips. At that moment, Luke burst into the room with two kids. A little boy, with golden hair and grey eyes and a little girl, who had blonde hair and blue-green-grey eyes. She was beautiful, especially for a toddler.

"I'll get Ryan." Percy said, ducking out of the room.

Annabeth turned to me, smiling.  "Hi, sorry, it's a bit chaotic around here sometimes. Anyways, this is Luke," she pointed to the eldest child. "He's six years old. And this is Xander, he's three." she pointed to the younger boy. "And this is Zoe, his twin sister."

Percy came into the room. "And this is Ryan." he gestured to the baby sleeping in his arms.

Annabeth whispered something to Percy and he took the kids down a hall. She smiled at me. "So anyways, I don't usually just bring random people to my house here but there was something about you...I guess just the fact you recognized me. In public."

I nodded.

"Any questions?"

"You're married to Percy Jackson?"

I slapped a hand over my mouth. I didn't mean to say that. But Annabeth just smiled. "Yes..."

"He's such an idiot though!" Oops. No turning back now.

Annabeth doubled over with laughter. "He is!"

"Then why did you marry him?"

She just laughed at that."You should come over again."

And that's how I met my BFF-best famous friend.

And Percabeth.
