Aphmau POV

Only half an hour before they start arriving

I quickly finished sweeping the hardwood floor and Aaron was on the phone ordering pizza.

The first doorbell rang??

"Aphmau!" shouted Garroth, Laurance, and Zane at the same time

They all gave me inescapable bear hugs.

"G-guys! You made it! Come in, make yourself at home. We made cookies; they're by the counter." I said happily

Garroth and Laurance sat on the couch and began socializing while Zane took out his phone and sat on the opposite side of where they were sitting.

Zane and his phone? Why am I not surprised

Kawaii~Chan POV

Damien and I parked on the side of Aphmau and Aaron's house and the anticipation is killing me.

"Kawaii~Chan you go on inside, I have to make a call for work." said Damien urgently

I wonder what for..?

"Okay hon, Kawaii~Chan will be waiting for you inside." I responded

I quickly gave him a hug and headed inside.

I rang to the doorbell.

Zane opened the door to me.

"Late to the party aren't you?" he said with his eyes narrowing down at me

I didn't want to respond to Zane..not after what he did to me a few hours ago.

Wait- late to the party? Has it been that long? 5'o CLOCK?

Zane POV

After my comment towards Kawaii~Chan she shoved and walked past me.

I try to be nice by opening the door to her and I get a shove, how polite.

I rolled my eyes and went back inside

Everyone was here already and they were each talking to someone

Lucinda was with Kim and Laurance, Katelyn was talking with Travis, Aphmau was, of course, with Aaron, and Dante was just eating. However..Kawaii~Chan was alone, talking with no one. She had a worried expression.

That's strange..considering she's always talking with everyone at social gatherings.

Kawaii~Chan POV

I noticed my foot tapping for the past 10 minutes. I feel an anxious aura surrounding me.

Why am I sweating? Am I worried?

I hope nothing happened to him. I noticed Zane looking at everyone. I felt sympathy for him..

As I was looking at Zane, he suddenly looked at me

I quickly turned away.

As I was further observing my friends, I just realized they were all drunk. That quick? The music playing started to further escalate which set everyone in a dancing mood. My foot began to tap again. My heart palpitated.

I couldn't take it anymore.
