ღChapter 5: Unfaithfulღ

Zane POV

Irene, everyone is drunk.

And Aphmau expects all of us to play spin the bottle? 

We'd probably be passed out by then

"I need to catch some air.." I said groaning to myself

I secretly went outside and stood by a the side of Aphmau's house.

Suddenly, I heard 2 people talking.

I decided to eavesdrop

"Damien, we should leave"

"Why?"

"Someone will catch us"

"Who cares?"

I closely put my ears close to their conversations and heard sounds.

What the hell?

Kawaii~Chan POV

Damien was taking too long with his call from work

I hope I'm not interrupting anything..

I stepped outside and heard 2 people kissing.

I quickly ran to the spawn of those sounds and couldn't believe my eyes.

My heart shattered. My eyes bewildered. My ears..droopy.

"M-michi~Chan and Damien~Kun?" I said with my voice starting to break

They had been making out.. and kissing each other like there's no tomorrow.

"Kawaii~Chan! It's not what it LOOKS LIKE!" he quickly shouted

"How could you Damien? Throw me away like I'm an unwanted possession..discard me like a dismantled object.." I said tearing up. My face felt red. 

"K-Kawaii~Chan!" he said panicked. He let go of Michi and ran towards me 

He attempted to grab my arm, "LET GO OF ME YOU PRICK!" I screamed at him.

"Take your NECKLACE AND GIVE IT TO MICHI! OBVIOUSLY SHE DESERVES IT!" I continued

"Come on..let's leave this sad lonely girl." Michi said to Damien. 

Damien nodded. How could he nod to such a request?

They left..

I walked towards the staircase of Aphmau's house and sat there..sobbing..balling my eyes out..

This heart could never be cured. 

Zane POV

I felt terrible. I can't believe I witnessed such a scene. Oh Irene..

I decided to go talk with Kawaii~Chan

"H-Hey.." I said calmly

She sniffed and said, "Z-Z-Zane~Kun?"

"Shh..It's alright" I said patting her back

It started to rain..? On a snowy day? Weird.

Darnit. My hair and clothes were getting soaked.

She then did something unexpected. She..

wrapped her arms around me

"K-Kawaii~Chan what on earth are you doing?" I said a bit flustered.

"Kawaii~Chan needs someone to hold onto right now.." she said with a broken voice.

"Even if that 'someone' literally snapped at you earlier?" I responded

"Yes..Zane~Kun?" she asked

"Yeah?" I responded

"Why is Zane~Kun here?" she wondered

"I..It's really none of your business" 

"Tell Kawaii~Chan" she insisted

"Fine. I just..needed to get some air. It was obviously bad timing considering having to witness the whole thing" I said with a pretty sad look.

"Oh...I see..well, It's pouring out here, Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Kun should head inside." she said grabbing my arm

She dragged me inside.

I've never seen Kawaii~Chan act this way, she looked depressed.

Oh well,

I could tell that guy was never suitable for her..
