"Olivia!!" yelled Elizabeth from downstairs, "You need to hurry before you're late for your interview!"

"Mom, it is only 7:30 am. My interview is not until 10:00." I answered sarcastically while walking into the kitchen, " I doubt that I will be late."

My mother turned around with a concerned look upon her face, "I'm sorry sweetie. I thought your interview was earlier than that," she said smiling as she handed me a plate full of bacon and a large bowl containing scrambled eggs, "Besides, you just graduated from college a few months ago with a Bachelor's degree in business. This job will be a good experience for you to meet new people and learn how a business works. I just wanted to make sure you got there on time."

I sat the food on the table and grabbed the orange juice from the refrigerator."I know mom and I appreciate your concern. It's just that, I'm a little nervous on how this interview will turn out. And you trying to rush me around this morning doesn't help."

"Oh honey, I'm sorry if I am making you feel anxious." she said as she squeezed my waist, "don't you worry your pretty little head...you got this."

"I hope you're right," I muttered giving her a squeeze back.

"Morning ladies," my father crooned entering the kitchen with my brother Aiden, following behind him.

We all sat down at the table to eat our breakfast. "Anything exciting happening today?" my father asked as he took a bite of his eggs.

"I have my interview today at Schofield Inc." I informed, taking a drink of my orange juice.

"That's right" he grinned as he held both his thumbs up, "I wish you the best of luck then."

   "Thanks Dad," I said laughing.

"I'm just going to hang out with some friends today." my brother added with a small smirk on his face while looking back and forth at our parents, "As a matter of fact, that's going to be pretty much every day all summer. I'm going to try to have as much fun as I can before I go off to college in the Fall."

"I don't think so young man." my mother said sternly, " you're not going to be goofing off all summer."

"That's right son. You're going to be helping me and your mother around the house. And then you can go and hang out with your loser friends." my father added jokingly.

"That's just rude." My brother said as he pouted. We all mocked his whiney behavior.

After we were finished eating, I helped my mom carry the dishes to the sink and rinsed them off to be put them in the dishwasher.

My father snuck up behind my mom, who was standing by the sink wiping the counter. He then grabbed a hold of her waist and gave her a small kissed on her neck, "Andrew! Behave yourself!" she squealed.

"I love you, Lizzy" he replied with a chuckle.

"I love you too." she giggled as she gave him a small peck on the cheek.
