I woke up with the sun shining directly in my eyes through the blinds. I glanced over at my alarm clock to see what time it was. In big bold red numbers, 10:30 glared back at me. As I sat up on the side of my bed, I was feeling a bit sluggish. My head ached a little from the slight hangover due to all the beers I drank the night before.
Grabbing some Advil out of the medicine cabinet from the bathroom connected to my room, I take two with a cup of water while starring in the mirror at my reflection, not only did I feel like shit, I looked like it too. I then hopped into the shower hoping the hot water would help get rid of this hangover. Once I was finished, I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my waist then headed to the kitchen.
I made a pot of coffee, grabbed some eggs out of the fridge and made some breakfast. Maybe if I ate something, It might help me feel a little better too. After I washed the dishes and straighten up the kitchen, I decided I'd go to the gym located in my apartment building. Its been awhile since I have had a good workout so, I threw on a pair of black shorts, a white muscle shirt and my Adidas. Grabbing my small duffle bag putting a towel and a bottle of Gatorade in it, I then headed down to the basement.
The gym was available for the residents and guests of our building twenty-four hours a day. I thought how convenient that was for the people who worked different shifts.
I entered through the double glass doors checking out all of the athletic equipment and what type they had. It pretty much had everything. There were bicycles, treadmills, the sit-up and rowing machines plus lots of the lifting equipment.
I started out on the treadmill after I did my stretches. I began my workout on easy then moved to the harder setting. Working out a sweat, I notice a tall busty blonde checking me out. I walked over to weights and started lifting. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see her heading my way. She was very attractive but she still didn't touch the beauty of the girl from the café. No one can.
"Hey handsome," she said seductively.
I smiled and politely answered, "Hey...not interested."
"And why is that?" She huffed as she moved her pointer finger up and down my arm.
"Because, your not my type." I replied.
"And what type would I be?"
"Desperate," I smirked. By the look she shot back at me, I knew I had offended her with my remark. Still smirking down at her, I turned and walked away from her.
Grabbing my duffle bag, I headed to the elevator. On the ride back up to my apartment. I thought to myself of how many women I've turned down this week. Something that I've never done.
Though I got to admit, turning those girls down has left me a little sexually frustrated. But for some reason, it just didn't feel right for me to be with other women. Damn, what is this girl doing to me? I haven't even talked to her or learned her name, yet she is all I think about.
When I stepped out of the elevator, I saw Tony standing by my door with his arms crossed. "Hey!" I greeted him unlocking my door, "what's up!"
"Not much. Tried to call ya," he replied following behind me into my apartment.
"Awww...you missed that much, you had to come check up on me." I joked giving him a wink
