Lucas
I woke up with memories of Olivia from the night before. I remember seeing the hunger and the lust in her eyes. Feeling the heat of her body against mine. But, the look she gave me when I sort of pushed her away. It broke my heart. Believe me, it's not that I didn't want to, the old me would of took her in that front seat. But, she definitely deserved better than that. She's different. I don't know what this girl has done to me or even how she could make me feel this way. But for some reason, she made me want to change who I was in the past. To be a better person.
Sighing, I climbed out of bed and grabbed a quick shower. Wrapping a towel around me, I went to check on her in the spare bedroom to find her still snoring away. My God, she was beautiful. Smiling to myself, I made my way out to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee and make us some breakfast.
I decided on some eggs and bacon since I wasn't exactly sure what Olivia liked. Waiting for the toast in the toaster, my phone's notification went off. I grabbed it to see who it was only to see that it was a text from Tony.
Tony: Hey bud! Have a good night?
Lucas: It wasn't bad. Why you ask?
Tony: Oh nothing. Just a bunch of pictures all over the internet of you and a pretty girl leaving that Charity Ball holding hands.
Lucas: Are you bloody serious!
Tony: Dead serious.
Lucas: Fuck! That's not good.
Tony: Who's the girl Lucas?
Lucas: Someone who doesn't need to be hassled by the press.
Looking up from my phone, I noticed Olivia standing in the doorway, her eyes were as big as saucers as she stared at me. Realizing that I was still in my towel, after I heard her gasped. Just by habit, I didn't think about throwing clothes on because this was my usual routine. Leaning against the counter, I grinned at her while I rubbed my neck nervously.
Lucas: Hey Tony, I gotta go I'll give you a call back later.
Tony: Aight, later.
"Good morning, um... I made you some breakfast," I smiled as I motioned her to sit down at the table, I grabbed a plate of food and a cup of coffee for her and placed it in front of her. I also grabbed some creamer and the sugar bowl, just in case she liked that in her coffee, "Um...okay, I'm just going to go and throw something on real quick."
"Morning Lucas. Um... that a... would be a good idea" she stuttered as she avoided looking at me or making any eye contact, "and thank you for making breakfast."
"My pleasure," I replied as he headed into the hallway.
Once I was in my room, I threw only on a pair of grey shorts leaving my chest still exposed and then headed back to the kitchen. I got a plate of food and a cup of coffee for myself then sat down across from her.
Thinking about what Tony told me made a little infuriated. This is the first time that I have ever let my guard down in front of the paparazzi or the press. In the past, I have always left alone because of all the publicity that it got. I just hope they don't bombard Olivia with a bunch of questions about the two of us. They just don't know when to quit and I don't want her to be frightened by them. Watching Olivia take small bites of her food, she looked up from her food and asked, "Is everything okay?"
