After I left Schofield Inc., I decided to myself that I'd walk the six blocks instead of taking the bus to the new café, Cup o' Joe. When I was younger, I always wanted to be doing something outdoors, especially taking walks.

There was just something about the fresh air that made me feel at peace. I would walk for hours at a time just taking in the scenery. I loved to watch the changing of the seasons. Even though I like them all, spring and fall were my favorites. I would either walk through the park or through town to try and clear my head of the things that would be bothering me at the time.

Today I just wanted to feel the sun on my face, and the breeze in my hair.

When I arrived, Hailey and Madison were already there sitting in one of the booths along the right side of the room. I walked over to them and slid in beside Madison.

"Hey girls!" I said while looking around the room, "This place is pretty nice."

I was actually surprised how spacious the place really was. The decor had a bit of a rustic/country style feel, which I thought was unusual and unique at the same time. Along the back of the building, was a red brick wall with wooden shelves randomly placed with different types of coffees, teas and coffee mugs placed neatly upon them.

A counter that was parallel to the brick wall consisted of a cash register, a small chalkboard with today's specials and, a few decorative items on the top. To the left of the counter was a swinging door, which I assumed was where the kitchen was located.

The other walls were painted an off-white color that was decorated with antique photos of different brands of coffee's and tea's dating from the early 1800s. There were a few booths with red leather seats lined-up along the right side of the room. In the center were probably about ten bistro-styled tiled tables and chairs that also had red leather for the seats.

Along the left side wall, was a counter that provided different flavors of creamers and a variety of packs of sugars. In between the creamer and sugar displays were napkins, stirrers and straws. Two wooden trash cans that were the same level as the counter were placed on both sides.

While all of the woodwork throughout the café, looked like it was probably customized from old barn wood. This included the floors, counters and the tables for the booths.

Lastly, a large window with, "Cup o' Joe" stenciled in a frosted glass paint was lit up by a white rope light that wrapped entirely around the inside of the window. A red and white gigham-style valance hung above the large window. While on the window sill, there was different styles of antique coffee and tea pots with a few ivy greenery place randomly in between them.

A door then, was located to the left of the window. It was also custom-made from the same type of old barn wood. It had a frosted glass trim around the edge with clear glass in the center. Placed directly in front of the door was a medium sized red area rug which read, WELCOME in big, bold black letters. To me, the place had a comfortable, homey-feel atmosphere, which I really liked.

"Hello ladies, welcome to Cup o' Joe." a waitress chewing on some gum interrupted my thoughts, we looked at her while she continued with a smile,"My name is Nancy. I will be your server. What can I get for you today?"

"Ummm...yes I will have a cappuccino and a egg and cheese on a croissant." replied Hailey.

"We'll have the same." Madison and I both chimed in unison.

"Ooh kay," she replied back to us "I'll be back shortly with your order then."

After she left to get our orders ready. Madison looks at me asking with a curious look on her face, "So Olivia, how did your interview go?
