peter;

Peter's feet dangled over the edge of the building he sat on as he looked for trouble in the streets. The night seemed to be calm though, Spider-Man didn't seem to be needed. A woman walked out of the grocery store, trying to carry four paper bags of groceries. Peter quickly got down to the stranger, landing soundless behind her.

"You need some help?" He asked and she turned around with a frightened look on her flawless features, almost dropping a bag of her groceries. Peter put his hands up in defence. "I'm so sorry miss I didn't mean to scare you."

"Oh my, hello!" She said happily as she saw that Spider-Man were standing next to her. When she turned, her face hit Peter like a brick wall, it was her! The girl from the coffee shop! "Sorry you are just amazing, uh yeah, I could use a hand." She smiled, but then a look of realisation stroke her face. "If you can, I mean, there is probably something more important than me and my groceries right?" She laughed.

"No no, I can help you." He said and took two of the bags from her arms.

"Thank you so much" She sighed out in relief.
"So how are you?" She asked him, wanting to start a conversation.

"I'm pretty good, you?" He asked, turning his head to look at her.

"I'm okey, a lot of stress because of school and I miss my family." She smiled sadly. "I am from England, I moved here because I got accepted to a university nearby. I won't see my family for a very long time."

"You won't be with them for Christmas?"

"No, too much school work, I will be celebrating Christmas alone this year, sadly." She said, sadness clouding her green eyes. "I'll have a Christmas movie marathon!" she said and tried covering up her sad mood. "Well this is where i live, you don't have to carry them up the stairs for me."

"No i can do it, it's totally fine." Peter said while nodding. She smiled thankfully and pressed the code for the apartment door. They carefully walked up the stairs towards her apartment. She unlocked the door and Peter followed her inside, looking around in awe.

"You can put the bags on the dining table. Thank you again!" She said and turned to Peter, smiling widely.

"Your welcome." Peter said, mesmerised by the beauty of her face.

"Well you better be off, We don't want someone to get hurt do we?" She said and followed him to the door. "Goodnight, Spider-Man" She said, and planted a kiss on his cheek. She closed the door and walked back into her kitchen, placing the groceries in their place, 'Christmas Time' by Bryan Adams playing from her Bluetooth speaker. Little did she know that Spider-Man were watching her, sitting on the edge of a high building, her not knowing that she saw the man behind the mask every day.
