peter;

Peters room was a mess as he rummaged through the drawers of his old dresser. He did not know what to wear but after thirty minutes of looking and some help from May, he finally had an outfit. A pair of black jeans and a cream colored sweater. The clock was 11;40 when he started walking towards the coffee shop. Ingrid wasn't there as he got there so he leaned against the wall, grabbing his phone from his pocket. Ned had texted him so he responded to that.

Hey Pete, you wanna hang out? - Ned

No man, i'm on a date with Ingrid. - Peter

He liked the sound of that 'date with Ingrid'. A pair of wine red boots met his eyes as he looked down on the ground. He quickly looked up and his eyes met ingrid smiling face.

"Hey! Are you ready to go?" Ingrid said and Peter nodded as she grabbed his arm. "Where are we going?" She laughed as she realized that she had no idea where they were going.

"Oh, to the subway station, I was thinking we could go on a small trip to Manhattan." Peter explained and Ingrid nodded, an excited glint in her eyes. They took the subway train to the station outside of Central Park. Ingrid leaned her head on Peter's shoulder as they sat down and her head remained there for the rest of the trip. After an hour they stepped out in the crispy winter day.

They began walking through the beautiful park, getting to know each other more and more. Ingrid told peter about her love for animals and music. Peter told Ingrid about his passion for science and math. They were the opposite of each other, but somehow they were a perfect match. Peter bought Ingrid and himself a caramelized apple before they continued their stroll through the park.

"So, what are you studying on the university?" Peter asked as he took a bite from the sugary apple.

"History, English and Psychology" Ingrid said and Peter nodded with an impressed look in his hazel eyes.

"Really? Is it fun?" He asked.

"I mean.." Inrid laughed and peter joined in after a moment. "It's fun, but it's very difficult and a lot of homework. She smiled and Peter nodded, an understanding look in his eyes. The darkness fell quickly over New York, so Peter and Ingrid started their journey home.

"Thank you for this amazing day Peter" Ingrid said as they walked up to Ingrids apartment door. "The best date that i've been on, not that i have been on many but.." Ingrid trailed of with a laugh, Peter joined in after a moment.

"Thank you for agreeing on going on this date with me." He said and smiled slightly as he looked into her eyes. She was only about two inches shorter than himself. She stared back into his orbs and soon their lips met in the sweetest of kisses. Peter placed his hands on her waist and Ingrid placed hers on either side of his face. They deepened it the slightest but before Ingrid got the chance to play with the curls on the back of Peter's neck, they were interrupted by Ingrids apartment door opening.

"Hey Ingrid who was that boy you wal-" Sharon started but her mouth turned into an 'o' as she saw the scene infront of her. She smiled an apologizing smile before she slowly closed the door.

"That was my aunt" Ingrid laughed and Peter soon joined in. "Are you free next Friday at five p.m?" She asked and peter nodded.

"Yeah i quit working at four thirty."

"Do you want to have dinner with me then? I'll make something." She smiled and Peter nodded happily.

"I would love too!" He said and Ingrid smiled at him before she planted a soft kiss on his cold cheek.

"See you then, bye." She said and opened the apartment door.

"Bye" Peter said and Ingrid smiled before she closed the door, leaving Peter with a feeling of love spreading through his chest. He smiled to himself before he began walking home, thinking about Ingrid and her beautiful face all the way.
