"I cannot believe you're pregnant." Alex said to me through the phone as I smiled at her with tears prickling my eyes.
"I know.. it's a odd dream come true." I said, drifting off mentally while staring at my blanket that covered my legs on the bed. "I just didn't expect it to happen so soon."
"Well timing is everything.. I'm sure there's a reason behind this time. Nothing just happens." She said from the other line causing me to nod.
I was a firm believer in everything happens for a reason.
"I know.. I just wished it would've been different and I would have been better prepared for him, you know?" I said to her and she just nodded. "With the media and all the snakes, my music that keeps getting delayed and Quincy and I's unstable relationship.. I just feel like everything is so uncertain. I don't want this baby to be welcomed into a rocky life."
"You need to just relax, Rem." She said comfortingly. "You need to stop worrying so much, the last time you worried.. you had a whole anxiety attack. That's not good for the baby. You just need to understand and believe that everything will be alright." She said as I soaked up her words and nodded in agreement.
"I'm so glad Quincy was there with me when that whole thing happened.. I could've passed out and hurt our little baby." I said as I ran my hand up and down my even bigger belly. I was currently 18 weeks pregnant now and my stomach grew a lot.
"Speaking of Quincy, where is he? And why isn't he taking care of my knocked up sister?" She asked causing me to laugh.
"He's at the gym.. getting finer so that when this baby pops out he can continue to take good care of your sister." I said with a laugh as I heard the sound of disgust come from her.
"Enough, ya nasty!" She yelled jokingly as I continued laughing. "That's my cue to get back to work.. but give Harmony a call when you get the chance."
