It's all your fault.

The voice said to me, loudly and clearly, causing my fight or flight senses to activate and my eyes to open suddenly.. only to see the room lit up by the morning sun that peeked through my grey curtains. I noticed that I was positioned with my leg over Quincy's abdomen like I loved to do and my head was in the crease of his neck with my arms wrapped tightly around his neck too, and he was holding onto me tightly and securely to the point where I could barely move. I didn't remember anything from last night, not even falling asleep like this but I wasn't complaining.. the warmth of his chest on mine, sent a calm energy down my body and I indulged in this feeling for as long as I could..

Until I heard him groan under me and gently shift.

"Good morning, Qt." I whispered in his ear before kissing his lobe. His eyes didn't open but I knew he heard me because a small smile slowly formed on his lips.

"Morning, babygirl." He said in a deep, sleepy and raspy voice, causing my ovaries to flutter. He turned over to face me and softly kissed my lips. "Did you sleep good?"

"Warm and securely." I said lowly as I turned my attention back to our physical position, his eyes followed.

"Last night.. you were having a bad dream or something." Quincy said as he turned to me and gave me a concerned look. "You were like.. crying and rocking back and forth. I didn't know what was wrong so I just held you close until you fell back asleep." He said lowly with care in his voice. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine.. I just don't remember any of that." I said, and I was being honest. I really didn't recall any of that happening but I was grateful and felt blessed to have such a patient and caring man like Quincy by my side to be there for me no matter what.

"Is there something you wanna tell me?" He said, hinting at something but I didn't know what. My heart began pounding and it became harder for me to maintain eye contact. My palms started getting sweaty and I felt a hot flash come over my body, I quickly gave him a smile and held his hand tightly.
