A man sits on a porch in the middle of the forest. It snows lightly over the forest he is in, and he watches it. Behind him is a large house, and in the guy's hand is a guitar. The guy stares into the forest with no real reason. "Are you okay Mike?" A voice in Mike's head asks. "Yeah I'm fine." Mike says. "I know you're not Mike, so just please tell me what's wrong." The voice says. "Okay... I'm a little bored just sitting here all the time." Mike says. "What's boring about this place?" The voice asks. "Well, like I said, I've done nothing for the past two years of my life, and as much as I love the girls inside, I just need a minute to go do something else, away from this life I live." Mike replies. "So what would you do when you're gone?" The voice asks. "I'm thinking I should go visit an old friend." Mike says.
"Hey Mike." Someone says behind him. Mike turns to the voice and asks, "Hey Benny, what's up?" Benny responds with, "I came out here to tell you that dinner is ready." Mike smiles and says, "Alright, I'll be there in just a second." Benny smiles back and nods. She then leaves Mike on the porch. Mike's smile fades and he stands up. He sets his guitar on a chair on the porch and then he heads inside.
After Mike grabs his food, he sits at the table with the others. They all chat peacefully for a while. But Mike kept quiet throughout the dinner. He was still thinking about how he will tell Slenda that he's leaving for a minute. When every creepypasta left to go do whatever they do, Mike was left to clean the mess. He wraps up leftovers, and scrubbed the dishes clean in the sink. When the kitchen looked nice and clean Mike had thought up a way to tell Slenda. So Mike walked up to Slenda's room, knowing she was the only other thing in this house. Mike slowly knocked on the door. From behind the door Slenda says, "Cone in." Mike opens the door, and enters Slenda's room. Inside is a neat bed that's big enough for her. Across from that is a desk where Slenda sits all day. Mike doesn't really know what she does while she sits there, but he learned long ago not to question things. "What's up?" Slenda asks. "So, I've been thinking about this for a while Slenda. I've been thinking about leaving this place for a couple of days. So I've come to ask if I can do that." Mike says. "No... it's too risky Mike." Slenda says. "How is it risky?" Mike asks. "Do I really have to remind you that they are still out there?" Slenda asks. "I know that they're still out there. But that doesn't matter anymore. You guys are more than capable to defend yourselves, and I'm literally invincible." Mike says. "Mike I don't want to take this risk." Slenda says. "I understand that you won't take this risk. But you and I both know I'm capable of dealing with it myself." Mike says. "I know but, it has been a long time since we had to deal with them. We have no clue what they cooked up in those labs of the theirs." Slenda says. This conversation goes on for a while. Mike brings up his opinion and Splenda shoots it down. Slowly, Mike realizes he hasn't made any progress in this conversation. "Alright, I see now that it was a bad idea. I'll stay here, I promise." Mike says. "Good, I appreciate that you don't want to stress me out." Slenda says. "Well I'll leave you to whatever you were doing." Mike says leaving the room.
As soon as Mike is out of the room, the gears in his head start to turn. He starts thinking of ways out. But, the big problem here was guilt. Mike knew he was gonna feel like absolute shit when he leaves for a minute, but he has to or he might go insane. With each passing minute a new part of the plan is built, and eventually all of the pieces fall in place. With an amazing plan, Mike is ready to go.Brett
Brett sits in a bar, all alone. He takes an occasional sip out of his drink, and talks to the bartender most of the time. Sometimes he's lucky enough to talk to a different person. But for now he's got no one to talk to. However, the night becomes slightly more interesting when Brett hears the door of the bar open, and cold air seeps in for a second. Eventually the cold went away, but the stranger who stood at the door stayed. He wore a puffy jean jacket with a Bennie and a pair of black pants. The man sits down next to Brett. The bartender walks over to the new customer and asks, "Can I see your ID?" The stranger nods and takes out his ID. He hands it over to the bartender, who briefly checks its legitimacy. He hands it back to the stranger and asks, "How Can I help you, sir?" The stranger thinks a second before pointing at Brett's drink and saying, "I'll have what he's having." Brett looks at the stranger oddly. The guy's voice sounded way too familiar to him. But Brett was taken out of his thoughts when he hears the stranger say, "It's nice to see you again Brett." Brett's eyes widen when he realizes who it is, "Mike?" Mike smiles and says, "That's me." Brett smiles and asks, "What are you doing here?" The bartender hands Mike a glass full of whatever Brett's drinking. Mike takes a sip of the drink and then he says, "I came here to get away from the forest for a little bit." Brett decided to add into this question by asking, "Why?" Mike folds his arms and says, "I live with a bunch of girls who go out and kill people, I think I need a break from the occasional stench of a dead body. Anyway, how have you been?" Brett takes a sip from his drink and says, "I'm kind of lonely right now, but I have a job a decent life style and a couple of good friends." Mike takes another sips and says, "That's great." Brett He should ask another question to his long lost friend, "So, are those Hunters still after you?" Mike takes another sip and says, "It's been a while since I've seen one, but I know they'll come for me at any minute. Anyway, how's Liz?" Brett chuckles and says, "Last I spoke to her she said she was moving to Ohio to be with her family. So she's probably long gone at this point." Mike shrugs and takes another sip of his drink. "Enough about me how are you?" Brett asks. "Well, I could be better." Mike says. "Why? What's wrong?" Brett asks. Mike sighs and says, "You ever think about death?" Brett scratches his chin and says, "Always." Mike takes another sip of his drink and says, "Well, I've also been thinking about my situation. I live in a great house with a wonderful group of friends that I consider my family. But the problem starts with my gun. Now nothing is wrong with her personality or anything like that, it's just the fact that she only keeps me alive after my body takes damage. But she can't keep me alive forever. I'll age like a regular human while the girls live forever. So I know for a fact that I won't be around to keep the girls alive. I'm not saying their weak and can't keep themselves alive, because they've survived long before I showed up. But if anything similar to them being kidnaped, I can't help them. So, I'm worried about leaving them behind." Brett stays quiet for a minute. "I... don't know what to say," Brett says after a while, "I'm sorry." Mike shrugs and says, "You don't have to worry about it, I'll hopefully figure it out."
After the original mood of the bar came back, the two begin chatting again.. The bar eventually closes, and the two are kicked out. The streets are still alive. The road is full of traffic, and the sidewalks are covered with people. Snow falls across the city. Meanwhile in an alleyway, Mike is puking. "Not too great of a drinker?" Brett asks. "Yeah, I've never had a drop of that stuff before," Mike says when he's slowly stops puking. "How'd you even get an ID?" Brett asks. "It's a fake." Mike says. "Are you of age?" Brett asks. "Yep." Mike says. "So, why can't you get a real one," Brett asks. "It was taken from my old house when the police searched it." Mike says. "Why'd the police search it?" Brett asks. "Because the people who originally owned the house were killed. They were investigating their deaths, and my disappearance. They probably think I'm dead, and I think it's best if I keep it that way." Mike says. "Well, seems like you've had a tough life." Brett says. "You don't even know. Jackie likes to say that I'm the boy who's hated by the world, and I like that title." Mike says. "It's fitting," he adds.
"Well, I better get home." Brett says. "It was nice seeing you friend." Mike says holding out his hand. Brett takes it and says, "Come back some time." Mike nods and pats Brett on the back. Then, Brett walks off, leaving Mime in the alley. Then the cold December air hits, and it starts to snow. Mike admires the snow for a bit, and heads out of the alley. The streets are still bustling, and Mike finds his way towards a highway heading out of New York. Mike hitchhikes his way across the country, taking a day to stop in a motel.
Eventually Mike makes it to Seattle. He just has to walk back home. As he walks through the streets, there are less and less buildings. The area becomes slightly more natural. As Mike exits the city he finds himself on a big stretch of road. He takes a left into the woods next to him, and walk his way through the familiar forest.
After a while Mike smelt something odd. It was smoking and smelled like it was burning. Mike starts to pick up his pave, thinking it might just be a forest fire. But instead of burning trees and shrubbery, it's a home that's burning down. When Mike sees this he draws his revolver, and runs towards the house. As he gets closer, he notices a small group of armed men. Mike's eyes widen when he sees theses men. Not because of their weapons, but because of a symbol they have plastered across their armor. It was the symbol of a hunter. Mike instantly aims his gun at the group, and fires six shoots towards them. The men drop dead, and Mike reloads his revolver. He then continues to run towards the burning house.
Once he gets there, Mike sees a familiar scene play out in front of him. He sees the girls fighting for their lives, and slowly losing. Mike gets behind cover and listens to one of the hunters ask one of the fallen girls, "Where is Mike?" Benny, the girl who was captured, says, "Fuck you." This causes the hunter to chuckle. He then morphs his hand into a fist and was about to hit Benny with it. Benny shuts her eyes, and clenched her teeth. But she never felt the impact of the guy's fist, instead she heard a loud gunshot. Suddenly, she is pushed to the ground and is held there by something. When Benny opens her eyes, she sees a lifeless corpse holding her to the ground. She looked at the guy's head and finds a hole that went through one side of the skull, and out the other. Pieces of brain is splattered against the dirt next to her. Instantly Benny knew who did this. "Give em' hell Mike!" Benny yells. Mike looks away from Benny and turns towards the remaining soldiers. They instantly raise their guns up to Mike, and start shooting. Mike runs behind cover, avoiding all of the shots fired at him. Mike takes a second to put another bullet into his gun. He pulls the hammer of his revolver back, and fires at one of the hunters. His bullet lands, causing the hunter to fall to the ground dead. Mike pulls the hammer back again, and fires at one of the men who took cover. This bullet manages to skim the guy's uniform. Mike pulls the hammer back again and stands up. Mike then stands there waiting for the six remaining men to come out of cover. The guys come out, shooting at Mike, who fires at the men. All of his shots land, which means he took out four of the guys. Mike then gets back behind cover, and reloads. He shoves two bullets into his gun, and stands up. He starts walking towards the guys, who stay behind cover. Once Mike gets right next to them, they stand up, and start firing at Mike. Mike takes all of their shots. Once the guys are out of ammo, Mike has no problem putting a bullet into both of the guys skulls.
After that, Mike holsters Alice, and runs over to the girls. Instantly he notices one of them is missing. "Where is Slenda?" Mike asks. "She went out a couple of days ago to find you." Jackie says. "Okay. But where is she?" Mike asks. "We told her you probably went out to New York." Jackie says. "Shit. Do you guys have any way to contact her?" Mike asks. "No." Jackie says. Mike rubs the ridge of his nose and says, "So our house is burning down, and the only one who has tons of power is gone. This isn't good." Mike says. Mike then hears a radio on one of the hunters belt emit a static noise. "We're sending back up hold on." The radio says. Mike's eyes widen and he says, "Say your final goodbyes to this place, we got to go." Mike says. "What about Slenda?" Benny asks. "She'll find us. She's smart." Mike says. With these final words, the group runs away from the burning building. The end of an era.
