"This sucks." Clocky says. "Yeah." Jess says. The group had made it all the way to a place called Cedar City. It took the group a day to get there on foot, and it didn't help that they had to walk through a blizzard most of the time. Now they are resting in a trashy hotel that they could barley afford. "I hope to god that Slenda wakes up soon." Jackie says. "Yeah. But until then all we can do is wait until she wakes up." Benny says. They all sigh and just talk for a while.
Mike
Mike wakes up feeling a sharp pain throughout his entire body, especially his wrist. Mike instantly notices something is off. He's not looking at anything that looks like a car interior, instead he's staring up at a grey ceiling. Not only was that weird, but whatever he was laying on did not feel like the cousins in a car. Instead he felt a terrible spring mattress underneath him. Mike sits up and notices that he is sitting behind bars. He hears footsteps slowly approach his cell. Eventually a person walked in front of the bars and says, "Morning." Mike instantly asks, "Where am I?" The guy scratches his chin and says, "Your in a prison cell here in Saint George." Mike sighs and asks, "How'd I get here?" The guy responds with, "I went up to search the highway to make sure no one got stuck in the blizzard we had yesterday. I found a barricade of cars, with a dead body lying in front of them. Then I checked the cars and found you. I instantly got you out of that car and into this cell." Mike raises an eyebrow and asks, "Why did you put me in this cell." The guy says, "I put you there because I thought you killed that man. I thought this because not only were you holding a gun, you were covered in blood, and I didn't see any wounds on you. So I put you here so I could ask you a couple of questions." Mike nods and says, "Well then ask away." The guard raises an eyebrow and says, "I'm kinda surprised by how calm you are. Most of the time the guys I bring in freak out for an hour before I can ask them questions." Mike smiles a little and says, "I'm far from normal, officer. What's your name?" The guy scratches his chin and says, "I'm Ethan. Who are you?" Mike stands up off the bed and says, "I'm Mike." Ethan then asks, "Alright, so why were you out in the middle of the road late at night?" Mike says, "Originally, I was trying to get to the next town. But then I was held up by that dead guy and a bunch of other people." Ethan raises an eyebrow and asks, "Where did the other people go?" Mike sits back down onto the bed and says, "You didn't check the trail that leads up the mountain right next to where you found that dead body." Ethan then says, "I'm assuming that they're dead." Mike nods in response. "Alright, so what I just heard leads me to believe that you killed those people. Am I right?" Ethan asks. "Yep," Mike says standing up off the bed. "Why'd you do it?" Ethan asks. Mike responds by saying, "I did it because they threatened my family." Ethan raises an eyebrow and asks, "So why did this threat escalate to a killing?" Mike says, "This time it was only a threat. But two years ago, those people stole my family and tested on them. I wanted them back. So, I realized that I'll need to kill if I want them back... Those guys forced me to kill, something an abused boy from Seattle wouldn't do. They fucked with my life." Ethan sits there and thinks for a minute. "Can I go now," Mike asks. Ethan sits there, quietly. Eventually he says, "Yeah. You can go." Mike raises an eyebrow and asks, "I just told you that I killed those guys, why are you letting me go?" Ethan says, "Because I don't want to fuck up your life anymore." Mike asks, "Won't you get in trouble?" Ethan says, "I never heard you say those things. No one will know you were here." Then Ethan slides the door open and leads Mike out of the building, giving him his gun back on the way there. "Good luck," he says as Mike walks out the front door.Slenda
At first the world was groggy. Slowly things like sound, and touch came back. Slenda opens her eyes. She hears other people in the room chatting away. "Hello?" Slenda says trying to get everyone's attention. Immediately the room goes quiet and Benny asks, "Hey Slenda. How Mike are you feeling?" Slenda says, "I'm feeling better now that I'm awake." Benny smiles while Slenda asks, "So, what's the situation?" Jess sighs and says, "So after our house burnt down, Mike got us a car. He drove as far as he could until they found us not too far away from Saint George. They held Mike up and let us go. We were able to find Cedar City and decided to just wait for you to wake up here. Oh yeah Mike told us to get to Canada." Slenda chuckles and says, "That boy's a weird one." The room goes silent letting Slenda think. "Alright, I know some people who live out in Canada who are, probably, willing to help us. I can get us there right now," Slenda says. Slenda stands up our old bed and everyone groups around her. Then Slenda teleports them away.
